Best house ever
The house is in a beautiful setting. So many things to do in the area from antique shopping, golf in the summer, winter skiing, hiking, really great restaurants. Once you've seen the house though, you won't want to leave. Great layout for families, group of friends, special occasions or just getting away to a special place. everything is provided for your stay. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, outdoor fire pit!!! Watch shooting stars at night. Jennifer has thought of everything. Even a playroom with toys and games! No preparation is needed on your part. Just show up for a fabulous stay.

Serene beauty and great family bonding
My family and I had such a wonderful time in this house, and in the community around the house. Beautiful views, relaxing vibe, great restaurants in Margaretville, and a great pizza place called Oakley's right on Route 28. Also, really good supermarket in Margaretville. We hiked, we went kayaking on the reservoir, antiquing in Margaretville and andes. The house itself is roomy with an awesome kitchen fully stocked with anything that you could possibly need. Great games in the basement and smores at the firepit looking up at the stars. But the best part was reconnecting with family without the stress of everyday life. My son keeps talking about the kayaking and the wildlife that we saw on our hikes. Thanks Jennifer and we will be back!!!

Wonderful House
My wife and I wanted to rent a secluded spot in the Catskills that allowed dogs and was kid friendly this place was perfect. Close to good swimming and dining and house was beautiful in and out! Highly recommend.

Perfect place to celebrate our mother's 60th birthday and we even got to bring the pups too:)
The family had a great time celebrating our mother's 60th birthday at the Catskill Mountain View House. We have two small dogs who are just as much family as the rest of us and so being able to bring them along was a deal breaker. When Jen said it was fine to bring the pups we pretty much didn't care about anything else but we were sure in for a pleasant surprise once we arrived.
Jen was so accommodating that she even agreed to let us check-in early which was amazing because this was actually a surprise get together so it bought us some time to get situated before the birthday girls arrival.
We cooked and grilled all weekend and even bought some local ingredients from the Pakatakan Farmers’ Market on Route 30 in Halcottsville.
At night we toasted marshmallows around the fire pit and had lots of laughs while overlooking the beautiful mountain backdrop with a sky full of stars.
There's not much more to say other than we would love to stay again and would definitely recommend the house to others.

This house has everything!
Spent 2 nights here and was very happy with everything. This house is loaded with everything you need to have a great time. The wood burning stove was very relaxing. There was plenty of room for me and my 7 friends. The property is gorgeous and the fire pit was the star of the night. The house is very clean and the owner is extremely helpful! Would definitely go back. Excellent!

Best vacation!!!
Beautiful house, every amenity,gorgeous views. Perfect place for a relaxing vacation. Owner was very helpful with local places of interest and cuisine.
