If you are not expecting much then this is the hotel. It is near the airport. For those who do not have to go to the town, but are planning a stop before going on safari, then this hotel is ideal. This hotel has a restaurant of its own and they serve breakfast too which is included in the price. It has a free wifi though the quality of the signals need improvement.

带着孩子去马赛马拉过渡一晚用，没想到酒店条件实在简陋，房间很小，灯光昏暗，卫生间设备很旧，不好用。Wi-Fi始终连接不上，早餐也很简单，建议多花点钱住别的酒店。

My wife and myself were passing through Nairobi on our way to Tanzania for a safari. We needed 2 overnights - the day of arrival and the day before departure. So we searched for a budget hotel that would be close to the places we wanted to see in the town - those were the Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Centre and the Elephant Orphanage. The hotel is situated close to the Park, so we decided to book it. Low cost places are usually of lower standards, so we didn't expect anything fancy, but still we were quite disappointed. We paid around $240 for 2 nights, double bed room. Nairobi is obviously not the cheapest town in Kenya, still for a similar price you can do much better.
Firstly, the receptionist wasn't aware of our reservation (we paid in full via our travel agent). He had to check with the manager, who wasn't there at the time. Fortunately for us, the receptionist decided to let us in the room so we didn't have to wait until he cleared everything.
Secondly, the room standard was really quite low, even for a budget hotel. The facilities were the worst - a tiny, tiny sink that wasn't connected to drainage, instead there was a pipe outlet protruding from a wall and everything from the sink just spilled onto the floor, which had a small outflow. So every time we used the sink, we had most of the bathroom floor covered with water... There was a shower head just next to the toilet (hence the floor drainage), so when we used the shower, the toiled was sprayed with water all over... :) They gave us a pair of old plastic slippers (just one), for using the bathroom, but they looked quite scary and we didn't dare to wear them :)
Everything was properly clean at least, but looked old and used.
The mosquito net around the bed was a laugh - full of holes and it had a space between the ceiling and itself. So it didn't really work and I got a lot of mosquito bites despite it.
The hotel has a small restaurant on the premises. We booked B&B, but didn't really enjoy having breakfast there. It was not so much because of food quality - they gave us a standard African continental (some fruit, toast, egg omelette and tea/coffee), as it was the quality of the place. It looked... well, sticky :) On our second overnight we decided to go without having breakfast there.
Finally, the neighborhood. The hotel adjoins some kind of local pub - on our second night there was a kind of a late-night party for the locals, with a soccer match viewing on TV. We absolutely don't mind the presence of locals, actually we find the Kenyans friendly and funny people, but we needed to wake up at 5am to catch a morning flight home and the noises were keeping us up till late.
The only good thing I have to say about this hotel is the staff - friendly as you may expect in that country. We had an issue with a lost bag (the airline mixed up and only one of our bags arrived with us) and the staff tried to help as much as they could. They called the airport luggage department for us, shared their experiences with similar incidents etc.
It is our opinion that for a similar amount of money one can get a much nicer standard. If you are not particularly desperate for a cheapest place possible, choose another hotel. And if you indeed are desperate, you'll get a comparable standard in a youth hostel or something like that :)
