So this is an unusual experience. Go to the spectacle area at mgm casinos at certain times (1,3,4 and 7) when we were there (check on website) to see penguin drones fly above your head. The area it’s in is shaped to resemble an underwater experience when you look up, and seeing the penguins loop and dive above your head is quite spectacular- especially so, I would imagine for younger children

Yes, it lives up to the name. It is a spectacle. Guinness World Record for the biggest free-standing self-supporting roof.
They do have a remote-controlled dolphin show called Sea Odyssey every day at 1,3,5 and 7 pm. It is an excessive display of technically advanced remote silver dolphins floating on a digital backdrop against the walls of the atrium.
When I saw the ad for the Sea Odyssey, I thought it was a water show of some sort. Didn't realize it was a digital display. I was asking the staff where the aquarium was. I was getting lots of strange looks.
The show is free. Go a bit early if you want to sit. Or eat at one of the restaurants located in the atrium.
It is worth seeing.

MGM Cotai now has a fun show called Sea Odyssey held in The Spectacle that is really fun for families visiting this property. The show features radio controlled dolphins and a shark that fly around the Spectacle while the numerous LED screens are set to underwater ocean scenery, creating an illusion that you are watching the dolphins swimming around and above you while you watch them from the ground floor.
You can see the Sea Odyssey show four times a day at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 7pm. The show lasts around ten minutes. The dolphins will come rather close to you if you are on ground level. Otherwise, if you are having a meal at one of the restaurants in The Spectacle, you can watch the Sea Odyssey program while dining as well.

MGM Cotai is now hosting a very impressive Fondant Art Exhibition located in the Infinite Harmony Exhibition Space within The Spectacular. This new permanent attraction features delicately created sculptures masterfully crafted out of fondant by artist Zhou Yi, also known colloquially as the Sugar King of China.
Exhibition opening hours are 12pm to 8pm daily (free entry) and there are hosts who will happily explain the meaning of any of the pieces that strike your interest. All of the fondant art sculptures are related to Chinese themes, folklore and culture with a couple being based on Macau places such as the UNESCO World Heritage Mandarin House. You can also read about several of the highlight sculptures on the MGM Cotai website page for this particular exhibition. Picture taking is allowed and encouraged while enjoying these delightful works of fondant art.
This is a superb new attraction at MGM Cotai, one of the more interesting art exhibitions I've seen in Macau over the years. It is great that they plan on this being a permanent exhibition as well, it is something that anyone with appreciation or art and sculpture can enjoy.

This is the central atrium of MGM Cotai, a luxurious casino at Macau's dazzling Cotai area. The vast space offers a bit of respite from endless gambling or luxury shopping. Grabbing a cup of coffee is a perfect pastime.

You will be amazed with the views and the ambiance of the spectacle (MGM Cotai). It is only like 15 minutes show but it is wort to see.
It takes you through the different areas of China with high LED giant screens so you will be amazed.
I’ll post few pictures but reality is much better.

We went there with high expectations yet were quite disappointed. I know there are many great reviews but I just couldn't find anything special about the place. It is a big space within MGM Cotai, huge ceiling, LED screens, restaurants around, some art installations. I thought it would be a wow experience but for me is like a poor movie theater. Just no atmosphere, the art installations quite tacky, and the LED video average. In today's world when there is so much possible with LED, 3D etc I would have expected more.

ＭＧＭコタイのロビーの巨大な装飾で目を惹く。ＭＧＭマカオのロビーにも巨大な水槽やキリンの人形があるがＭＧＭの装飾は奇をてらわず見応えがある。中国の代表的な名所や日本の城の大きなディスプレイもあり幻想的で素晴らしいと思った。

Fuerza Bruta！非看不可的Show!開放式的表演讓觀眾跟表演者能近距離互動，投入在演出中。音樂跟表演配合的恰到好處，十分震撼！氣氛很棒！大家到澳門玩一定要抽空去看！只在MGM Cotai喔！

Architecturally it is a wonder. A massive TV is constantly changing with magnificent displays of the wonders of the Earth. Call mean soothing fragrances well through the air.
The food was was a delicious treat as well. Everywhere you look that art is Extraordinary!
