Stopped off here. An interesting and fairly large antique centre with lots to see. Lots of dealers are set up in metal storage containers. Cafe on site, but we didn't visit.

We are regulars in the tearooms and garden. I honestly cannot othink of any better venue. Unbearable for service, quality, value and variety. Certainly within a 10 mile radius they cannot be beaten.

Nice place apart from the car park. That is appalling. Encouraged to park on grass which is now mud. Muddy puddles all over the driveway and walking areas which is a shame as it would be great otherwise. Had lunch in the tea room and it's good value for money. Cakes are a little pricey but very good. Unfortunately the toilets leave a lot to be desired. While the toilet itself is clean, the floor, sink, and walls are not. The floor was soaking wet both in the cubicle and in the waiting area and this was a little slippery which could be dangerous so be aware. Directions into site could be better as a car was actually blocking the signage from the road, causing everyone to drive past and turn around in the exit gate! Staff are friendly and helpful and dogs are most welcome in the tea rooms.

I've been here a couple of times. It is very querky. There are various storage containers as well as some outbuildings that hold mainly antique items. We enjoyed browsing and reminiscing, although we didn't purchase anything.
After our look around, we went to the café on the site. In my opinion, if this was better, I believe this could be a real gem which would encourage more people to visit. There is the potential for a beautiful garden area to sit in. When we visited, only a cobbled, uneven patio with a couple of tables was open, which was difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Beyond the patio was a lovely garden area, but unfortunately, this was cordoned off. The inside of the café was quite dark and dull. Also, the food didn't seem particularly appealing and the cake that we bought was nothing to write home about.
The café, if improved, could be a real business opportunity.

The cafe, however, was an utter disappointment. The staff weren't happy when we interrupted their chatting, looking completely surprised that some customers had dared to walk in. We ordered Ploughman's lunches which were adequate, but the 'crusty' bread was stale and ruined the meal. No-one asked us if we were happy with the meal - to be honest I think they were just happy they could go back to their conversation once we'd left. We won't be returning.

Great place to have a look round for a bargain or for reminiscing what you used to remember from childhood.

My partner and l have often seen the brown tourist sign for Whitemoor Antiques so decided to go and see. Big mistake! A yard full of muddy potholes. Lorry ship containers full of dusty old rubbish claiming to be "antiques." This place makes charity shops look high market. We then tried the tea-shop. The counter lady was more concerned about chit-chatting to others than taking orders. The sandwich appeared to be cheap supermarket brown bread and the "crusty bread" with the soup was soft. The final straw, was other people's begging dogs after food.

Enjoyed a lunch at whitemoors today. I had a bacon and brie toastie, it was very tasty lots of brie.
We went for a walk around the units after. Lots of memories, and lots to look at.

We came down from Cheshire to visit friends in Leicestershire and after an enjoyable visit to the Antiques Centre, decided to visit the Tea Rooms - BIG mistake! Woman at the counter with tattoos on her wrist was totally indifferent. We asked what cakes there were as there were very few on display and she replied "There may be some more in the back" but didn't offer to see what they were! So, we ordered 3 teas, 1 coffee and 4 toasted teacakes at a cost of £19.20. We then went to sit outside in the shade and began to battle with the wasps (not their fault but other cafes have measures in place to deter/distract wasps from food). Eventually our tea and coffee were served (tea tasted cheap and not very flavoursome) but we waited around 30 minutes to be given our COLD toasted teacakes that had obviously been sitting on the counter for ages waiting for someone to bother bringing them to us. The butter had turned to liquid and the teacakes were cold and hard but given the indifference we had experienced earlier, it was pointless complaining. In contrast, we saw a woman arrive long after us being served her toasted teacakes within minutes of sitting down! A VERY disappointing visit to the Tea Rooms after an enjoyable visit to the Antiques Centre.
