Excellent few hours spent at Nunny's Farm within a Birthday Group,a variety of Well Cared Animals to see and Pet in Safety plus the Kind,Polite Knowledgeable Staff and Helpers that where on Hand for the Duration.
Hand Wash Stations doted around and Party Food supplied was very Successful,enjoyable 4th Birthday,Many Thanks to All Involved👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Visited the farm a while back and was surprised by how much space there is as it’s hidden from the road. I visited again this week to meet the newest animals rescued by the team.
The farm is constantly changing with improvement being made when funds allow. The staff are always available to tell stories about the animals and how they came to be at the farm. You can pet the smaller animals and feed the large ones too. This is a not for profit organisation that relies on people visiting or donating to allow it to continue its vital work with the animals and community. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Found by chance and had a lovely experience. Volunteers were very helpful telling us the rabbits names.
The paths were obviously very recent and helped keep the visit mud levels to a minimum.
Great selection of friendly animals to meet, feed and stroke.
Great selection in the gift shop and the café definitely worth another visit.
Loved the little signs with all the animals names and birthdays on very sweet touch!

I called at the Farm today for the first time and enjoyed my visit. I will certainly return and support this worthy attraction. I found the site OK and the staff were very helpful and friendly. For farm visits you need sensible shoes. I will sponsor the 2 Highland cows which I think are magnificent creatures. See pic of Hamish attached DF

Lovely little farm
Price is great
I would also like to add on that the Toilets where brilliant ! The cleanliness of the the toilet area was one of best I have been in including restaurants and bars !
Staff where lovely
Animals where friendly and confident with people which to me shows they are treated well as have no fear ❤️ !
You can also buy bags of feed to give all animals around the farm , I recommend getting two bags as the goats at the start win you over and you don’t have enough for all animals.
Overall nice farm and great for something to do knowing it’s a good cause

Nice place to spend couple of hours with young ones,areas to have a picnic staff pleasant and happy to talk.
Animals are varied and my favourite(Highland coo) which was a bonus was happy to be fed.

My children aged 6 and 8 did the farmers club on Thursday and had a fantastic time. Lovely farm real community vibe

A small city farm tucked away in the middle of a large housing estate. The kind and enthusiastic staff take excellent care of the animals and know all their individual likes and dislikes. Animals are well socialised and I highly recommend buying a bag of food to offer as you go round.
Each pen has details of the occupants including their name, age and details about their species. Staff also run sessions to meet and pet the animals.
The farm also grows vegetables which are available from the gift shop and well as options to adopt animals and smaller items such as fridge magnets and cuddly toys.
There is plenty of parking available, toilets and hand washing facilities as well as a small café.

Went to the "Petting Farm" the on 02/09/22.
Awkward to find with it being behind a community centre, it is a very odd location.
Had to then pay £3.50 each for what is literally just a field with lots of play areas for children and enclosures. (I didn't mind as it goes towards feeding the animals..I hope)
The animals they had to say it was a "petting zoo" all had "caution will bite signs" and really weren't friendly which made me feel they were inappropriate for young children which this zoo marketed towards.
The majority of animals were Donkeys, I love donkeys and these ones loved having there ears scratched and of course we're friendly especially if you had food for them!
It was very empty apart from a two pigs, and handful of goats and sheep, 3 alpacas, chickens/turkeys, rabbits and the guinea pigs.
The animals I would of said where most used to being pet are the ones you weren't allowed to touch if you wasn't a "farmer for the day" i.e. Rabbits and Guinea pigs which is ridiculous.
It was very disappointing and I expected better when you categorise your business as a petting zoo.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, I can see you are not local to the area but if you are back in Grimsby we would like to invite you in to see if we can improve your experience.
In the meantime I will respond to some of your points raised.
We are an urban city farm, set up by volunteers on a disused playing field of an old school, so yes it is just a field, surrounded by houses.
We have 13 different species of animals totalling over 75 animals on site (2 Highland Cows, 3 Donkeys, 3 Ponies, 3 Alpacas, 5 pigs, 6 sheep, 7 goats, ducks, chickens, turkeys, quails, rabbits & guinea pigs) and they all live here as pets.
The animals are all friendly but some can nip when people hand feed them incorrectly and therefore signage indicating this was required.
It’s possible if you visited in bad weather that the animals were inside their shelters and couldn’t be seen. We don’t force our animals to interact with people.
The rabbits and guinea pigs can be petted if we have volunteers available to get them out for the public. They do this around cleaning out the animals.
Unfortunately Trip Advisor doesn’t give us an option to advertise as a city farm.

Went to Nunnys Farm for the first time today. Lovely little place. Perfect for toddlers. My nearly 4 year old loved it and we quite happily spent a few hours there. The price is very reasonable, Animals are easily accessible and friendly and for saying it is in the middle of a housing estate it was quiet and peaceful (we went on a quiet day though). We would definitely go back.
