The staff are so amazing, and very helpful, very tricky but a fun kind!! definitely an experience to do again, especially with the room variety!

很棒的一次体验，工作人员真的很有趣，我们体验了两个密室，设计非常巧妙，主题也都非常棒，我下次有机会还会来的。对啦，顺便给大家推荐我在英国时使用的交通，我在英国半个月都是坐火车，真的很方便，而且在Trainpal上购买railcard还有8折优惠，大家可以去试试哦，输入RC777F就可以领取啦。

We did 2 escape rooms today, locked in the basement and the hidden relics, both were absolutely amazing!
The hosts George and Emma were absolutely amazing, from the moment you enter the building they were great!
Definitely worth the trip and will 100% be returning to do more rooms! Thank you for the experience!

Did the Lost Relics and the Lawless Frontiers rooms and really enjoyed them both, rooms were very detailed and staff were great. would recommend.

Staff is top tier. Emma and George make it 10x more enjoyable. Both are a great laugh. (Emma's funnier)

Emma and George. What a duo. Superb job from both of them to make the experience enjoyable. Top tier comedy and laughed at my joke (someone had to). Made the games immersive with the clues, not that we used many, Even after a few drinks. As I said George class on grass perfect sense of humour, Emma I mean you done ya job I suppose (10/10 from both)

I played both poseidons fury and hillbilly living, both rooms were absolutely amazing, so well thought through and absolutely amazing theming, there wasn’t a second i didn’t enjoy, the puzzles were very understandable and so fun! i was hosted by emma and george, so polite and so welcoming, emma made me feel like i was in a proper hillbilly town!! they were both so enthusiastic and passionate which makes the experience 10x better! 100% recommend to anyone looking to do something fun with there day.

We have played a few of their escape rooms as a 2, across their venues at Hornchurch and Romford and it's always a delight. Each room we played was loads of fun, with a great flow of puzzles and unique themes. The host have always been lovely and clearly care about your experiences.
Hidden Relics stands out in particular for its unique take on a lot of common escape room themes. Each area feels completely different from the last, the use of space keeps you guessing what's going to happen next all the way through.
Bomb Squad had some challenging puzzles that really test how well you can work as a team to navigate your way through the story of the game.
Look forward to playing some of their other games, will definitely be back to play The Room in The Basement.

My sister and I went for our first time together going to the Rock one (has nothing to do with the Rock), our expectations weren't very high as we booked it on a whim.
Our host Cat was very professional and made the whole process enjoyable and smooth. The escape room itself was very fun and challenging, a lot of co-operations was required. However, I do have to say many things weren't very intuitive though that could be due to our lack of experience. We also found some clues to be quite difficult to look at, such as peeking down a tiny dark hole where you need you flash light, our eyesight is bad but not that bad.
Overall, very solid and affordable place. It is located in the back of a sort of run-down-looking area but is completely harmless.

The Rock refers to the name given to a Penitentiary - a prison, which was located on an island and looked like a rock hence the name. The game is a prison themed game. The puzzle which requires light has 2 holes - one for your eye and one for you to shine a light through, if done in reverse the reference required is still visible but at a much further distance whereas the other way will give you a much closer distance therefore suitable for those long or short sighted. As for our location we are in an industrial estate and the exterior is the sole responsibility of the owner which in our case is our local council. We will forward your feedback to Kat who will be thrilled at the lovely comments and we look forward to welcoming you back for lots more adventures!

I’ve done prison break and curse of anum (epygtiam theme)
In prison break your hands are cuffed together until you find a key..
In the Egyptian one, one hand was cuffed to a bar on the wall until you found a key.. but that didn’t take too long
