Cannot speak highly enough of the experience and staff! A tailored hour of coaching, clays and cartridges! The instructor for the day, Steve, was attentive, motivating and entertaining. I shall be booking in for further coaching later on in the year. The session was topped off with a slice of cake and a warm drink from the cafe. Thoroughly recommend

My sons aged 14 and 10 had a great time at their junior shooting lesson with a very patient instructor.

My Son bought this for my 60th birthday and had a fantastic time and a breakfast as well ! Well equiped and well organised day, we had a great experienced guide that made the day relaxed and explained every stand in detail no pressure. Bloody great day thanks

A brilliant way to learn the basics of shooting and adopt the correct attitude to this sport as a complete beginner. The instructor led training is one of the best experiences I could recommend and I will go back for further lessons.

Had a fantastic time yesterday at Orston Shooting Ground, I booked an experience via Virgin Experiences for me and my wife. We had 1 to 1 tuition whilst we shot some practice rounds. The instructor Dave was fantastic and so friendly. Then we had a competition of 50 clays between me and my wife and I even won a prize!! Then we had a full English breakfast in the cafe which was superb! Everyone was so friendly and we now can't wait to get our shotgun licences and enjoy our new hobby at this club. If anyone is in two minds wether they would enjoy this or not, they have plenty of taster sessions their website, I'd say definitely give it a go!

Our group of ten came down for a "Hunters package" and a buffet afterwards. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the whole team were awesome and really went that extra mile. Everyrhing was relaxed and we were clear at all times what was happening next. Really fun and supportive instructors who provided indivual support for each person during our time there. Safety is top priority on the site and it showed. Special mention to Nikki and the catering team who provided a delicious buffet for us after our shoot. Prizes for best and worst of the day which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended for a visit ir to use as a club.

Just had the best time at Orston Shooting Ground. The staff were really friendly right from when I first made enquiries with Leoni, through to Dave, our instructor on the day. He really made the experience enjoyable, especially as I've never done clay pigeon shooting before. The onsite cafe is lovely too, with great staff and lovely food. We started the experience with a lovely bacon butty, which was yummy! The grounds are nice and big, surrounded by countryside and there is plenty of parking. We were lucky that it was a lovely crisp, sunny day on our visit which also added to the experience! Highly recommend!

Great shooting ground, well maintained, with some excellent and testing targets. Very helpful and friendly staff. Cafe very good also.

Hi there. My stepson it 18 in December & all he want to do is fire a WW2 weapon. He is really into history & so I’m trying to find somewhere that does that. Do you offer anything like that, or know anywhere that does? Many thanks. Neil

Hi Neil, I am afraid not and unsure of other facilities. We have clay shooting range shooting over and under shotguns and an air rifle range if either of those are of interest?
