Bhutan is a worth visit country if you are seeking peace and calmness.
We loved the experience organised by Fortune Travels. It was a customized itinerary based on our interests and inputs. They did a splendid job with a very safe driver (Dorji), terrific guide (Pala) and a great car (MG ZS EV)
We are vegetarians and everything was so accommodative right from good places to eat and stay.
We are definitely planning to come back to Bhutan. I highly recommend Mukesh and Fortune travels to others.

We did last minute booking for NJP - East Sikkim trip. Mukesh was able to provide a vehicle at short notice and at market rates with a good itenary. The vehicle was comfortable and the driver was pretty knowledgeable. Overall was a satisfactory trip with zero hassles.

If you're considering a trip to Bhutan, do it! It’s truly one of the most awe-inspiring places in the world. Our 7-night, 8-day trip was an absolute dream. The cultural and scenic richness of Bhutan is breathtaking, and the warmth and hospitality of the people make it even more special. What made our experience exceptional, however, was choosing "Fortune Travel" out of many top competitors. Mukesh Gupta, the founder, is incredibly capable, competitive in pricing, and exceptionally prompt in communication. He treats his clients like family, which was evident from the very beginning.
Mukesh promised us the best guide and driver, and he truly delivered. Our guide, Yeshey Tshewang (fondly known as Pala), and our driver, Dorji Wangchuk, were extraordinary. Pala and Dorji went above and beyond our expectations. Their knowledge, professionalism, and warm personalities enhanced our journey in so many ways.

Dorji, our driver, was exceptionally skilled and cautious on the mountain roads, especially in challenging weather conditions like rain, fog, and even during landslides. His music collection was a delightful surprise, with a variety of Bhutanese, Bollywood, and even Gollywood hits that kept us entertained.
Pala, our guide, was a treasure trove of information, not only about the sights but also about Bhutanese culture, society, and economy. He was always ready to adjust our plans based on weather conditions and our preferences, showing remarkable flexibility and creativity in finding alternative activities. Pala was also an excellent photographer and videographer, helping us capture our memories beautifully. From arranging cultural shows to communicating with hotels and restaurants about our preferences, Pala took care of everything with such thoughtfulness. He even guided us on our hikes at Phobjikha Valley and Tiger’s Nest.
Pala's fluency in both Hindi and English, with clear and comfortable accents, made everything so easy to understand. He was not only polite and courteous but also an absolute delight to spend time with.
We’ve travelled extensively worldwide for decades, but we’ve never encountered a team quite like this. As we leave Bhutan tomorrow, we know we’ll deeply miss them. I’m already planning my next trip to Bhutan, and it will undoubtedly be based on the availability of this extraordinary team, especially Pala.

PS: The above blog was written before our last day in Bhutan as we planned to take the Tiger Hill trek on Oct 2nd, As I wrote at the blog of the great day, I missed a step, slipped and fell down with a bad injury on my right knee. Pala who has been always very helpful , helped me to come down by constantly giving me support with his hand and made the descent less painful, At our leaving at the Paro airport, Pala said to us: "We met as strangers, we became friends in the seven days and now we are departing as the family!"

We went to 3 days trip to Bhutan and it was absolutely worth it. Right from the immigration process, hotel checkin everything was so smooth. Also to mention, the guide and driver were very knowledgeable and hospitable. Great experience

We had a one week tour to Bhutan and then Jaldapara which came up to be amazing while we got Yeshey Pala as our guide. I would like to thank very much to Pala ji as he helped a lot understand the history behind the local places, their customs and culture with his constant effort. The drivers specifically in Bhutan (like Sonam ji) we got, were so experienced that we got smooth experience while the journey across the towns and cities. And for the hotels, hospitality from the staffs were far better than we usually get here in Indian 3 star hotels. So, we felt that the trip was worth it.

It's a late post but I will make it worth it. My friend and I had a long-standing wish to travel to Bhutan but we weren't sure when and how. Early this year, we started researching potential travel agents for their packages. Being females, we were most concerned about our safety. We had no reviews of Bhutan from anybody, so it was an uncharted territory making it all the more difficult for us to find the right travel agent that checked most of our criteria. After almost two months of research, my friend came across Fortune Travel on Google and found great reviews. That's how we contacted Mukesh Ji and discussed our ideas with him. He noted all our preferences and assured us of a good trip. It is always a risk when you travel to a another country for the first time and via a new travel agency. After several conversations with Mukesh Ji, we got some confidence and decided to take the risk anyway.
We traveled to Bhutan from August 10 to 17, covering Phuentsholing, Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro. We were accompanied by the best guide and driver we can ever find and thanks to Mukesh ji, this trip was a successful one. My friend and I have travelled places but I must say that Bhutan is magic! The entire trip was planned within our budget with the best facilities. Our dream came true and I couldn't have imagined a better way to experience it. Thank you, Mukesh Ji, for organising our trip. We have started planning our trip to the other parts of Bhutan and we will go via Fortune Travel certainly.

Cheap fraudsters. They charge you premium and promise service. DO NOT TRUST Mukesh. North East is full of cheap taxi drivers who do not know how to deal with families. They keep acting like cab owners and pass on their jobs to other drivers who are cheaper. All of them act like agents to each other. In the end the driver who comes to you will be at a much lesser cost to them. This is how they make money by fleecing tourists.
They spoilt our trip by providing rash drivers with smelly cars. ACs were being switched off even in the plains where it was hot. Very uncomfortable cars.
Rather than sedans or smaller cars, go for Innovas through good hotels if you are a family or a couple.
If you are looking for cheap rates, better to go to drivers directly since most of them treat tourists the same way.

I regret that you had a very bad experience but I don't remember who you are and why are you posting these negative feedbacks on my trip advisor portal .
