Today's tour was to the North Cappadocia area. Our guide, Turan, was excellent at explaining the history of each site. I did not feel well, and he called for a taxi and waited with me to make sure the driver understood which hotel to take me to. My husband continued on the tour and had only wonderful things to say about his experience.

Express personalised service in a lux vehicle, tailored to your needs when doing private tour. It was really my guide Suat though that made it special, he is just a unique highly gifted guy with people and a real professional in service and tourism. He treated me like an old friend providing sincere hospitality at his home, his service was so warm and comfortable. Thanks Suat for what you gave of yourself so making it a special few days together.

Crossroads Travel provided a private guide and transportation for an Izmir/Ephesus tour during our recent trip to Turkey. Yesra Kemal, our guide, was excellent. She's very knowledgeable and so personable. We learned a lot about ancient Turkey and about modern culture -- the best of both worlds. Thank you Yesra!
All arrangements were excellent; everyone was on time, very polite and thoughtful. Would highly recommend this agency and Yesra as a guide.

We had a private tour for Cappadocia, Konya, Pamukkale, and Kusadasi. Suat Akay was our tour guide! He not only arranged the tours in a very efficient way, taking into consideration of our group members ages and needs for rest, but also worked hard to understand our preferences and special interests of individuals in arranging restaurants and events. He was personable, caring, humorous and extremely knowledgeable, and also very professional. We loved hearing him tell us the stories and histories at the famous sites we visited. I felt that I was having a history class that I very much needed, apart from those amazing food and beautiful and unique scenes that he took us to. We learnt a lot from Suat! We thoroughly enjoyed our entire trip, and especially loved that we had such a great guy to company us, with our full trust! He would take care of everything for us, be it an ointment to treat my knee issue, or my son's craving for an ice cream! By the end of the tour, we felt like he is our long time friend! Suat and his company have delivered top notch services to our group on this unforgettable trip. We will definitely book other trips with the company in the near future, and will want to have Suat as our tour guide again if possible. Strongly recommend the company and Suart to friends and anyone looking to visit those places!

We did a semi-private tour in December. Seven Churches tour was just for 2 of us, and Cappadocia was a tour with 1-2 other couples.
The planning with Betul was very easy and she’s so helpful. The guides and drivers are wonderful, always on time, car is big and comfortable.The hotels they booked for us are good and clean.

Crossroad Travel offered service for my wife and I in a recent trip to Turkey. Our private guide, Suat Akay took us on tours in Cappadocia, Izmir, Ephesus and Bodrum. the itinerary chosen and the activities were incredibly insightful and allowed us to gain a new understanding of Turkey and the civilizations that preceeded the Ottomans. Highly recommended tour for those with the willingness to learn more.

I booked a trip with Crossroads in Jan /20,after looking at many good reviews.My booking agent was Mrs Betul Eren.Athough we communicated thru email, her professionalism,,customer skills ,and knowledge was very evident.Somehow she also communicated her humanity.Due to the uncertainty related to covid19, I cancelled my trip.Mrs Eren was understanding and ensured my refund.I am sure Mrs Eren And Crossroads are mirror reflections of an excellent travel company.Hopefully I will rebook when are healthy days return.

Diesen Ausflug muss man buchen. Die einzelnen weißen Becken... ich war geflasht. Da muss man unbedingt gewesen sein! Dreimal Daumen hoch.

Riza (guide) and Burak (driver) were great. Riza was very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. I only wish I’d had more time in both places! Highly recommended.

My wife and I visited Turkey for our honeymoon. We traveled around Western Turkey, mostly around the coast. Izmir was our second stop, and that is where we used Crossroads Travel to arrange many day trips for us.
Our first stop was Pergamon. Yavuz was our guide for Pergamon. We saw the ancient acropolis, and learned a ton of history. His expertise brought life to the ancient ruins of Pergamon. The acropolis itself has stunning views of the valley below, and the cable car ride is the cherry on top. We also had lunch at a local place (delicious!) where we treated like rockstars (not too many westerners). We also saw the Red Church: pagan temple turned Church, featured in the Seven Churches tour. Yavuz specializes in those churches, so gave us an excellent run down.
We had Yavuz again for our Ephesus and St Mary tour two days later. I think everyone knows about Ephesus, but it spectacular nonetheless. If you are into history, and especially Biblical history, you can't miss this tour! Be sure to grab some water from Mary's House. Afterwards, we saw another of the seven churches, and where the old Temple of Artemis stood.
Finally, we had the Aphrodisias and Pamukkale tour. Yavuz livened our 3 hour car ride by sharing the recent history of Turkey. Considering we missed out on Gallipoli, this was a fine substitute. Aphrodisias is an amazing site, frankly superior to Ephesus. The ruins are magnificent, and totally empty. It's crazy! The tour just got better and better! My favorite part was the hippodrome/race track. It's simply stunning, and there's nobody there! It was absolutely a hidden treasure of Turkey; it wasn't even on my radar until that day, and I consider myself generally knowledgeable about history. Make sure to leave time for the museum at the end. We were pressed for time, so had to run through it. Pamukkale was gorgeous, and the amphitheater at Hieropolis has one of the best views I've ever seen. Gorgeous!
In short: the title says it all. If you have the opportunity, please ask for Yavuz. He is the best tour guide we had on our entire time in Turkey, and frankly in any of my travels, anywhere. It's clear he loves his craft, and his passion for Turkey and its heritage is infectious. World class and excellent! He is full of great anecdotes, and absolutely enlivened our trip.

I had a full day Ephesus tour with Yavuz and had a great time. He was very accommodating and helped us out in whichever manner he could. He was polite and a very informative guide. If I revisit Ephesus I will surely like to rebook him.
