The most professional and efficient travel agency. I learned about Amber Travel though the seat 61 train travel website, searching for a way to purchase advanced tickets on the high speed train from Istanbul to Ankara.... after contacting them by email, I received printable PDF tickets, which were sent to my email... these PDF files can be downloaded to your phone and scanned on board by the train conductor. The best and most professional service from Olga Y. at Amber Travel who deserves a promotion and a very high recommendation! 5 stars all the way.

Our experience with Amber Travel, working with Yesim and Paul was truly outstanding. The itinerary was exactly what we asked for giving us a diverse experience of amazing Turkey from Izmir to Cappadocia. Paul was always available and responsive to our WhatsApp communication during the tour. We were 8 seniors and soon discovered that some of our group were unable to manage the terrain on more difficult hikes. Paul swiftly made suitable alternate arrangements on more than one occasion. All of our guides were great and flexible. Timuchin in particular, was fantastic, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and after 4 days together became both friend and guide. Bidding farewell to this wonderful human brought tears to our eyes. All of this comes at a bargain price by North American standards. Amber Travel came highly recommended to us and they did not disappoint. Thank you Paul and to all of your team.

La Via Licia in self-guided, tutto organizzato al meglio.
Trasferimenti, trasporto bagaglio, tracce gpx e mappe per ogni singolo giorno.
Hotel super, accoglienti e genuini.
A fine novembre ancora possibile camminare con T-shirt.
Noi di solito ci organizziamo da soli ma avere un’agenzia che lo fa al posto tuo è vacanza vera e ogni tanto ci concediamo questo piccolo lusso.
Trasferimenti, trasporto bagaglio, tracce gpx e mappe per ogni singolo giorno.
Hotel super, accoglienti e genuini.

Thanks to Paul and Olga for putting together a fantastic solo bike trip from Dalyan to Cirali. Everything was perfect from baggage and airport transfers to accommodation. The one in Kabak is set in a stunning location. The GPS files and
additional notes were a great help in adding to the experience. Everyone were very friendly and the motorists courteous. Even the weather was perfect for early November.

Paul and Olga and the entire Amber Travel team were great from the first day, when we emailed them to require information about the possibility to hike the Lycian Way, to our last day on trip.
Always nice and available to do last minute changes to the itinerary and offer additional services or information.
The transfers were perfectly organized and timed and hotels were most of the time great even if it was at the very end of the season.
We definitely recommend Amber Travel as they can organize your dream holiday in Turkey combining whatever you need, hiking, biking, relaxing, water sports, nice hotels and restaurants with a good range of possibilities for your budget.
If you go to Turkey travel with Amber!

We were a group of friends doing a guided bike tour from Daylan to Kaş and were lucky enough to have Paul as our guide.
The trip is a great mix of Cycling, Swimming & Visiting Heritage sites.
The bikes were top class, the daily routes were varied & challenging. We stayed at good accommodation along the way, varying from Boutique hotels to village homes. Fabulous scenery along the way.
Paul & our driver Byram had every angle covered & made our trip an enjoyable & memorable one.
I will definitely be contacting Amber Travel again for any more trips to Turkey.

I spent a week hiking in the Lycean way, organised by Amber travel. Everything was perfect.
They managed to find great hotels for my stay, even though it was out of the main tourist season and many hotels were closed. They provided helpful accurate GPS maps and paper guides for my hike, transport for connections and they were there to support me when there was a problem with a small part of the path was unexpectedly closed. I’m planning coming back with Amber next year.

We’ve had a perfect experience!! We did the self-guided Lycian way Eastern part. The organisation and client attention by Paul & Olga was really amazing. The GPS tracks were super helpful, hotels really nice ans everything was just great! Thanks so much! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Our 8 person family group walked the Eastern Lycian way. The trail is fantastic, through pine woods, with gorgeous views and swimming stops at lovely beaches.
Amber travel gave us excellent written descriptions and maps of our route. the hotels they selected were very good, and provided a varied experience, from a historic Ottoman era home to a modern beach town motel.
Olga was immediately responsive and accommodating every time we asked for a change or extra help along the way. She must monitor messages 24/7!
I hope to walk the Western part of the Lycian way in the future, and will not hesitate to use Amber Travel again.

We hiked the West Lycian Way, with an added day walking on to Phellos, plus a stay in Kalkan and Simena, all arranged by Amber Travel. The guided instructions were excellent, the hotel selections very good and all the transfers and pick ups went well. Amber Travel also lent us hiking poles which saved us the problem of transporting from UK. We really enjoy the hiking, the ruins and the warmth of the Turkish people. Highly recommend the Fidanka hotel in Kalkan.
