The museum with attached sales area was very nicely presented. You watch a small image film at the beginning and are then guided through the sales area by the staff with explanations. Unfortunately, the prices were far too high for us. The stop was always interesting.

We visited back in July while on Safari. The products are beautiful and the staff was very helpful. That said, we did not make a purchase at that time. I decided to look on-line to get a gift for wife . Tabitha assisted me and was very helpful through my selection, check out, and payment process. I have not received my purchase, but I’m highly confident it will be excellent.

For a long time I was looking for a real Tanzanite but I was afraid of being ripped off. I was reassured on the website that a certificate of authenticity was attached to the stone. Salesman Junaid was very patient with me. The ring arrived earlier than expected. I highly recommend shopping at Tanzanite Experience.

Odilia was amazing! They have a short film explaining the discovery of tanzanite, then she walked us through the mining process and answered questions. With grace and patience she showed us pieces and responded to questions, even offered tea or coffee. We were very happy with our customized and certified purchases.

I highly recommend visiting Tanzanite experience if you are interested in the history of tanzanite or in purchasing some. Rebecca, our guide and salesperson was highly knowledgeable and patient with our indecision. We checked a couple of other places but came back and bought from Rebeca. We had confidence in their assessments of the stones and their value. I highly recommend.

I am going to visit Arusha and would like to purchase some tanzanite for gifts. Wonderin are the prices at each store location the same as found at the museum's store? Can you find jewelry of the Maasai Ladies Project at all locations?

The Tanzanite experience office is upstairs and a locked showroom that I believe your guide can get you into. First they set you down and show you a video which you can see now on YouTube and I do believe they are much cheaper and you can ask for a better price after they give you the price and they should takeoff a few hundred dollars. The cultural heritage center they might take you to. Also in Arusha would be much more expensive and they sell mostly loose stones. You can buy beautiful, set stones as well as loose stones at the Tanzanite experience. Maasai, jewelry and clothing, and or fabrics can be purchased, if you are going to a Maasai village, very reasonably, I don’t know your itinerary so I don’t know where you will be. if you’d like to phone me my phone number is area code 818-383-7988.

I have a beautiful ring with a brown quartz center stone ): I just need to get the stone measured and they can send me options on colors and pricing and ship me the stone.
They also have a service were you could send the ring to their Dubai location and it could be set for you. Good luck!

The rings normally start from USD180 depending on the type of metal used (silver, gold or platinum), size, colour, clarity and cut of the stone and details of the ring itself. Some are embedded with Diamonds while others with Zircons.

Hi, yes The Tanzanite Experience was open in 2011 with a museum and shop however since then it has gone under new ownership and has had a total refurbishment with the museum being much more interactive and featuring a life size replica of a tanzanite mine shaft now.
