I used to go to Tin Hau to eat 😆, but I haven’t been here for a while (´▽｀), and I suddenly miss it. Recently, it was my sister’s birthday, so we went to Tin Hau to eat~
I had heard of The SocialHouse many years ago, and it has received a lot of praise on major food review websites. I made a reservation for dinner tonight.
Under the boss's introduction, we ordered several dishes. When I checked out, I discovered that there was a 20% discount on a single order, which was a good deal (≧▽≦)!
@Char Grilled Octopus🐙$208
The octopus is quite soft and tender, the meat is elastic and tasty, and it goes well with wine.
@Roasted Spanish Suckilng 🐽 $328
The signature Spanish suckling pig is really delicious^O^/. The pork skin is so crispy, not too much but not too much fat under the skin, and the pork is tender and juicy.
The store recently launched a new dish, Ma Youyu, which is popular among many people~

The Apple Napoleon is good, the crispness is quite good ☺️, the apple has a cinnamon aroma, so refreshing and sweet.
The food is good, but 👨🏻our speaking skills really need to be improved. My friend was busy that day, so I helped distribute the food. 👨🏻I told my friend directly, do you want to eat disabled meals? It’s really not funny (´Д` )

銅鑼灣天后廟過去有很多香港人去那裡祈禱。然而，我發現最近去那裡的人少了，因為管理那裡的夫妻，總是以粗魯和非常不友好的態度, 敦促人們添香油。此外，我看到一些善信秘密地給他們金錢，以獲得許可燃燒元寶。真的可惡!

Worth the visit and near the Tin Hau subway station (exit A1). Very beautiful roof structure and quite historic ie over 200 years old. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess of Seafarers. No charge to enter and need 20-25 minutes.

天后駅から歩いて数分くらいの場所にある地元のお寺です。駅名になるくらいなので、広くて大きいお寺を想像して行きましたが、周囲を高層マンションに囲まれた小さなお寺でした。

铜锣湾天后庙供奉天后娘娘、还祀神明有观音、正财神及包公。建筑被列为香港法定古迹。庙外石狮是道光年雕刻。
旁边有天后庙花园，有圆形楼梯、庭院及流水台阶。供附近居民一个休憩空间。

天后駅付近に宿泊していたため、朝の散歩にこちらのお寺に寄りました。朝早くから地元の人たちがお祈りをされていました。高層ビルの中に建つ、小さなお寺ですが、雰囲気のある素敵な場所でした。

Whilst the modern gardens are peaceful if nondescript, the temple itself really is something special. The exterior friezes and artwork adorning the roof are reasons enough to visit and study for a while, and the interior is calm and atmospheric as expected.

A nice historical building to visit in Causeway Bay is the Tin Hau Temple. This is a Declared Monument located a few minutes walk from the Tin Hau MTR Station Exit A1 on the east side of Victoria Park. The temple and garden are open from 7am to 5pm daily.
The temple is was built by the Tai Clan sometime in the 18th-century upon the grounds where a red stone or figure of Tin Hau was found (depending on which version of the legend). It was believed the item was gift from the goddess of the sea (Tin Hau). A shrine was setup on the location. It became very popular with local fisherman prompting the building of a temple that you see today.
The Tin Hau Temple a typical two hall temple with side halls. The interior features shrines, deity figures, numerous offerings left by worshippers, hanging incense coils, nice ceramic reliefs of a tiger and dragon as well as an important 18th-century bell.
The exterior is quite decorative and worth a few minutes to enjoy. It is of traditional grey brick walls with murals above the entrance. There is an delicate rooftop with dragon figures and centre pearl. You'll see impressive ceramic figures, some of the finest of the many HK temples as part of the facade.
In the end, this is a good temple to visit if you plan to be in the Victoria Park area of Causeway Bay and enjoy visiting historically important buildings during your travels. You can also pass by the unique Lin Ka Fung Temple around 4-5 minute walk up Tung Lo Wan Road which passes just west of the Tin Hau Temple.

This is a very interesting temple that is well worth a pop in when walking around the local area. Best to plot a route for the day which includes the temple visit.
