Literally the best rooftop bar in the Eastern District to chill or to enjoy a Happy Friday evening!
They’re located at the 32/F of East Hong Kong hotel. Very decent place with unparalleled views, nice vibes and live DJ music not so loud so you could have a nice chat. Wide variety of cocktails and other beverages, as well as Japanese-style snack. Service was great too!

Sugar is located on the top floor of the Tai Kwun Hotel, offering magnificent views of the harbor, allowing guests to indulge in delicious food while enjoying the stunning scenery of Victoria Harbour.
The restaurant's environment is modern, with stylish design elements and comfortable seating, creating a trendy and relaxed atmosphere. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the Tai Koo MTR station.
From the MTR station, simply follow the pedestrian path through the Tai Koo Fong shopping mall to easily reach the restaurant. As part of a series of cocktails named after planets, we ordered two cocktails and a serving of grilled Hokkaido scallops as appetizers.

Ron Zacapa 23 Yrs Rum, Malibu, Darjeeling Tea, Orange Bitters
I love tea + spirits combinations too! Using sweet rum to balance the strong bitterness of the tea and bitters creates a sophisticated and mature flavor. 🚬 The accompanying plate in the shape of a planet is incredibly stunning! It turns out that this cocktail even includes a rich and boozy panna cotta 🍮 topped with crushed Oreos 🍪, which is very enticing! 🤩

Clarified Chrysanthemum Tea. White Wine Foam💕
The unique design of this cocktail is quite impressive, resembling a lollipop. It's perfect because you can both enjoy it and have fun with it, bringing a lot of joy and happiness.
Grilled Hokkaido scallops priced at $198.
The scallops are cooked until they develop a caramelized color, with a crispy exterior and tender interior. They are fresh, sweet, and juicy, retaining their moisture. They are absolutely delicious! 😘

位於East Hotel 32/F嘅rooftop bar
有室內及戶外座位
室外可以一覽無遺欣賞到無敵維港同城市景色🏙️
酒吧燈光柔和昏暗，設計摩登優雅
可以一邊享受DJ播放嘅音樂，一邊放鬆心情飲返杯~🍸
另外，佢地嘅洗手間都係一大亮點!!✨
裡面有落地大玻璃有景睇
而且個大理石圓柱形水槽好豪華!真係忍唔住要影返幾張相先走(*´∀`*)

Une vue magnifique avec une ambiance chic. Les cocktails classique ne sont pas incroyable mais ceux qu’ils proposent sur la carte sont exccellent! Ils offrent aussi des cockails sans alcool qui sont delicieux

The bar is at the roof top of the East Hotel, with a panoramic view of the harbour. A perfect place for a chill out with friends or family.

Sugar is a nice rooftop bar at East Hong Kong Hotel in Taikoo Shing that makes for a nice evening out and round of drinks. It is located on 32/F and is open from 5.30pm to midnight. What you will find is a nicely decorated modern bar with both indoor and outdoor terrace seating. Views from the outdoor terrace of the harbour and skyline are very rewarding especially when sky conditions are favourable.
We stopped by last week for happy hour and enjoyed a round. As we have found in the past, service was polite and friendly, drinks were just fine. Crowds were manageable as we visited fairly early. It can get rather crowded here later on and on weekends. Did not order food on this occasion but have in the past, all of which are ok, nothing special but fine for nibbling on while enjoying a round.

The airline-themed New Years bash in 2021-2022 was pretty cool, since I've been trapped unable to fly home for over a year.
Boo to Qantas Airlines, props to Edmond, Lucas and Victor!
The team was even nice enough to offer a blanket for my wife when the December wind blew in.
It's a warm farewell to us as we (hopefully) fly out.

...even for pricey food and standard high drinks prices. It’s a lovely view across the island and over to Kowloon plus the service is excellent.
