Great Park for nice stroll for free. We spent 1 hour walking around park, which was beautiful. We stayed at Park Royal Hotel or metro Sha Tin is approx 10 min walk to park.

This is a relatively large park that satisfies many different interests. Besdies paths for walking and jogging, there is also a very nice Chinese garden with a pond with a bridge and waterfall. There are nice floral displays for pictures and playground for children.

This probably isn’t worth travelling out of the city for BUT, if you’re in the area, then you should come here, 100%. If only to get away from the never-ending shopping centre next door. It’s very pretty and peaceful too.

Sha Tin Park is a public park providing 8 hectares of rural and leisure grounds between New Town Plaza shopping mall and the Shing Mun River in Sha Tin. The park opened in 1988 and can be visited from 6.30am to 11pm daily.
Here visitors can enjoy much open space, holiday installations which are particularly interesting during festival periods like Chinese New Year and nice garden grounds.
There are Walled Gardens with traditional moon gate entrances, buildings and pavilions of traditional Chinese architecture, numerous planted trees, shrubs, flowering plants, artificial ponds, streams and even a small waterfall.
The North and South Gardens are particularly relaxing. This is where you find enclosed small lakes with lilies, flowering plants, small bridges and plenty of benched seating. There are terrapins and koy fish in the ponds, lots of bird life in the area as well. Some of the walled garden areas are popular for those practicing morning tai chi.
You'll find a kiosk, fountain and amphitheatre in the centre of the park and bike paths lining the river just next to the park grounds. Lots of footpaths criss-crossing the various pond areas and gardens. There are a few sections with traditional children's playground equipment as well.
In the end, there is plenty of space to find a place for yourself at Sha Tin Park, making this a good location for green space and some peace and quiet in the Sha Tin area.

這的公園也有限定的開放時間，想帶小朋友來逛逛的要留意哦，另外這次看到《阿千看世界》的文章才知道要先在「KLOOK客路」買好券(真的比現場便宜)，這位旅遊部落客阿千真的強！外加她的「agoda訂房」折扣密技也讓我省下了好幾千，有興趣的人可以上網搜尋《阿千看世界》
