Our Masai Mara safari with Joel was nothing short of magical! On the very first day, we were treated to an unforgettable experience—spotting the Big Five within hours of the first game tour. Joel, our guide, wasn’t just an expert; he was the *king* of the savanna. His deep knowledge of the landscape and wildlife was unparalleled, and he effortlessly guided us to prime spots before anyone else.
What made it even more impressive was how other guides looked to him for direction—he was truly a leader on the plains, orchestrating the movements of the entire convoy. Every moment with Joel felt like an adventure beyond expectation, his instinct and passion for the Mara coming through in every turn and stop. If you want the best safari experience, Joel is the guide to make it happen—he turns a great trip into an unforgettable journey.

Amazing driver, knows, exactly, where to go, to see the best animals, protects the nature and helps other people who cut stuck in the muud, I would choose him again, and I would recommend him to all the people who come to Kenya. I want to discover the beautiful land! Go for him, he’s the best!

Amazing tour operator Joel the CEO of Ankole tours and travels made sure our trip to Kenya was magnificent. Our trip to Kenya included tour around Nairobi, game drives in Masai Mara, game drives in amboseli and wrapped our trip spending a quality time in Diani beach. Ankole tours and travels are by far the best tour operators one can choose if they decide to go for a trip to Kenya for tourism. We would like to thank Ankole team, specially ESTHER for helping us out make decisions regarding the trip.

Loved this excellently planned and executed safari tour with ankole tours and travels. They were very patience with as we changed our travel plans few times.
Our guide Joe was very knowledge, funny, good communication and his driving skills was great.

Our family has done several Safaris with Ankole. All of them have been a great experience.
Communication and booking was very individual and efficient. Messages were answered within minutes and everything was clear before booking.
Each time we had a clean and well maintained Safari vehicle. Joel, has been a great driver and guide on every safari.
He patiently found many highlights and took time so that we could enjoy the animals.
Seeing how other drivers rush and move away from a sighting in just a few minutes. Joel has the patience to wait the extra minute and he will never give you the feeling that he is not fully enjoying himself. What we specially appreciate is the respect for the animals and environment that he has!
We have done most of the safaris with our 4 kids and Joel has made it very special for the kids as well. He will explain and have background information and make a safari very entertaining. But he can also just be quiet and not force a conversation.
We did book the full package including lodging and each time everything was sorted and the camps were good choices.
We have recommended Ankole to several of our friends and guests and all of them had similar positive experiences!
For any Safari in Kenya Joel and Ankole would be our partner and place to go!
