We had the most amazing time with Beacon - we did an 8 day Safari with Johnson and couldn't be happier. From the moment of booking everything and asking questions - everyone was so helpful! Johnson was a great guide and driver, we felt super safe with him and you could tell he had a lot of experience. The accommodation and meals were all amazing as well - highly recommend doing a trip with Beacon it you want an unforgettable safari experience!

We had an excellent safari for 6 nights, covering Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. Our driver and guide, Ken, was very knowledgeable and had an eye to spot wildlife at several km away- a true wildlife expert! Ken went above and beyond to ensure that we saw the Big Five, which we did.
Robert, who helped us plan the safari, was very responsive and helpful in the initial planning of this trip. He was quick to make amendments and gave us a good itinerary and price.
The lodges were very nice, especially Sopa Lake Naivasha and Ashnil where we wished we stayed an extra night to just relax.
Overall, we had a very relaxing holiday and very much enjoyed our first safari!
Special mention to Ken who made this trip unforgettable.
We will definitely recommend Ken and Beacon Safari to our friends!!!

We had an absolute blast on our Safari trip with Beacon Safaris. Everything was smooth, we got picked up right on time at the location we shared ahead of the trip and from there our driver Yustas (spelling might be off) ensured everything went without a hitch!
We went to Hells Gate and did a biking Safari + hiking, ending the night with a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. The next day we went to Masai Mara where we got to see all the animals real close! Including lions, jaguars, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, etc... and came back to Nairobi 2 days later feeling more than satisfied. Cannot recommend enough! The lodging was very nice and all the meals provided were great too. But what really made the trip worth it was our driver. He was nice, fun and had sooo much knowledge about the animals that he shared with us throughout the trip. We really felt we could trust him and he did not disappoint. We will be back for more!

Robert is responsive and thoughtful during the planning stage. He was able to get us into the Eagle Lodge in the Masai Mara Conservancy. Although an extra, it was well worth it. With fewer visitors, our off road adventures were the highlight. Our guide at Eagle was Steven, a college educated Masai. He organized a walking safari with five Masai. On the hike he pointed out animal tracks and paths. Thrilling. Our "tent" was 500 sf of design excellence. Food and staff outstanding.
After two days, we left Eagle and were handed off to Jackson for three days to visit Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. He's an excellent safari guide, immediately getting a sense of our interests and added on a quick lake trip, walking safari and a visit to a Masai village.
However, a forgotten passport in a hotel became a lesson in logistics. Jackson had a messenger on a motorcycle from the hotel in three minutes and saved the day with his communication skills and resourcefulness. Jackson is a great human being, superb guide and fixer.
After two days, we left Eagle and were handed off to Jackson for three days to visit Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. He's an excellent safari guide, immediately getting a sense of our interests and added on a quick lake trip, walking safari and a visit to a Masai village.

The owner of Beacon Safaris, also called Robert, was very responsive and helpful in the initial planning of this trip. He was quick to make amendments and gave us a good itinerary and price. However, the communication with him in the later stages, and during the trip, could have been better. This is the only reason why we did not give this review a 5 star rating.

We had an unforgettable two days safari organized by Simon.Simon’s organization and attention to detail made everything run smoothly. Our guide Richard is also such a knowledgeable and passionate guide. His insights and enthusiasm made every moment of the safari special, and we felt completely taken care of throughout the journey.
You both played a huge part in making this trip unforgettable, and I’m truly grateful for the experience!

My friends and I booked the 7 day Safari trip to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara. The trip is private (just us)z We had a fantastic time exploring three different national parks, where landscapes and animals are slightly different, which makes it more fun than seeing the same scenery for 3+ days.
We stayed in Amboseli Sopa Lodges, Lake Nakuru Sopa Loadges, Great Rift Valley near Lake Naivasha due to unavailability in Naivasha Sopa, and Mara Sopa Lodges. The accommodation, food and service were way beyond our expectation. Our room at Lake Nakuru Sopa had amazing sunrise view too!
Robert was easy to communicate with, either via email or WhatsApp. One friend had issue with the flight that we had to delay our departure to Amboseli by half a day. It was communicated to Robert easily and we managed to get another driver to drive the rest of us around in Nairobi on that day while waiting for that friend to arrive.
Our driver Anthony is amazing. He is very friendly, experienced in driving on the roads and the national parks. He also have very sharp eyes to spot the wild animals - he was the first driver who found a pride of lion and a cheetah among all the others in Maasai Mara on one day. Besides, he shares his passion for wild animals, would find a good spot for us to get best shots with nice background/views/interesting animal interactions - he taught us good photographer had to be patient to wait for the best. He is also very patient about my washroom request too - I understand it’s not always convenient to find washrooms in national parks or during some long drive but he would bear my requests in mind and try to resolve it.
I would recommend Beacon Safaris to my friends :)

We booked online based on reviews and we were a bit worried, but the safari was very well organised, we received all the support especially since our flight to Nairobi was cancelled and postponed. Great knowledge of the parks and, most important, a really safe driver. Great experience!

I would highly recommend Beacon safaris
just returned from a seven day safari organised by Robert. From start to finish, it was an amazing experience. Our guide Alex who had great knowledge and always managed to show us what we wanted he was always there for us having our best interest Heart everything we wanted to do. He managed to sort would highly recommend using this company.
