Wow what an amazing stay we had in Istanbul all thanks to Erk and Umit at Locally Istanbul. We were in Istanbul for only 48hrs for a work trip and they made sure every moment we had free we were getting around and seeing the sights. They have such a wealth of knowledge about Istanbul and its culture, any questions we asked they knew the answer to. If you are looking to experience the true culture of Istanbul; its food, history, etc. then you need to book a tour with Locally Istanbul. This made our trip and we will definitely be back to Istanbul to enjoy a rooftop cocktail with Erk and Umit again! Thanks so much guys ♥️

We had very limited time in Istanbul and Erk and Umit help make the most out of it. We saw and experienced so much in such short time. I would recommend them 100% for your trip to Istanbul. We look forward to our next visit and tour with the guys

We had a bespoke tour of the Bohemian side with Erk and it was lovely. He made sure to teach us a lot about Turkish culture and what life is like in Istanbul. It felt authentic versus cheesy and contrived. We already want to go back and do more of the tours Locally Istanbul offers. Thanks for a great time Erk!

I recently used Locally Istanbul for two days while on an overnight cruise ship stop. There were two guides Umit and Zafer. I can not speak more highly of them both. They both were waiting as I disembarked the ship and I had an amazing and informative day planned around Istanbul. The Istanbul visit could have not been any better. I will use Locally Istanbul again on my next visit!

Locally Istanbul MADE our trip. They created such a phenomenal experience for us and I could not recommend them more. Both Erk and Ümit were super easygoing and easy to be around, knowledgeable and fun. Along our tours they pointed out some cool cultural things that would have otherwise gone unnoticed for the remainder of our 2 weeks. The tours we had with Locally Istanbul were professional, and they came well prepared and with high energy and genuine enthusiasm. We felt like we were with knowledgeable local friends, not stiff tour guides. We loved them & would recommend them to anyone!

This is my second time with Ümit on the ‘Bohemian side” walking tour and I can’t recommend him enough. He tailors the tour to your needs and interests, tunes in very quickly with the group (in 2019 we were a family of 4 and this time 10 people from all around the world), and provides you with an unforgettable experience. We focused on street food this time combined with historical details about this fascinating city. The initially planned 4 hours quickly turned into 5 and had it not been so incredibly hot we would have continued further. Highly recommendable for those who want to explore Istanbul on foot and via food.

We just returned from a cruise that gave us two days in Istanbul. We worked with Erk from Locally Istanbul who arranged both days of tours for our small group. Our first day was with Evrim who took us all over the Old City including the Spice Market. Here she introduced us to her favorite shop & we were treated so kindly with lots of tasting! We loved exploring this part of the city with her & visiting the mosques & the palace. We didn’t sit down until we got to our private Bosphorus cruise. The entire day was amazing!
Our next day we spent with Erk who took us through many of the neighborhoods. With that, we were able to enjoy stops along the way & try so many delicious street foods. In addition to these stops, Erk took us to a local restaurant for lunch that was amazing! It was Michelin recommended without the expensive costs. We ended the day near our cruise ship for dessert. The baklava he had us try was incredible, but the ice cream & chocolate mousse we haven’t stopped talking about! I can’t get over how amazing it all was. Both days were perfect. If only we had another day!l!

I had an amazing one-on-one private tour with Ümit around the Bohemian side of the city. The knowledge he had to share about the city, history of the country, politics, and religion as we wandered around the city was astounding. I am so glad I reached out to Ümit and Erk. I was able to learn so much about the city and country that I would never have learned. I would highly recommend them when visiting Istanbul!

The Bohemian and Bosphorus Asian Side tours with Umit were wonderful. Umit is a kind, extremely knowledgeable guide who went out of his way to be sure we saw the incredible sites of Istanbul. He tailored our day to accommodate a special request to find tulips in bloom. Every aspect of our experience was outstanding; from scheduling to the tours.

Erk is a dream!! Showed such beautiful things of Istanbul. My whole family enjoyed our time with him!! If you are going to Istanbul, book this!!!! It will make your trip next level!
