We loved this hamam! I have no idea why there are so many poor reviews. Yes, it is under the hotel Antusa Design but it wasn’t dirty or dilapidated. It was a bit smaller of a space for the locker area or sauna area but that was the least of my worries. The saunas were nice, the scrub and foam wash were awesome. There was a cool shower head you could use in the steam room which was amazing as well. We opted for the 50 minute massage after and loved every minute. We never felt rushed and the women were very sweet. They brought a lovely hibiscus tea and water in between when we relaxed. The massage was finished with a nice clay face mask. I think we paid $150 out the door for 2 hours at the spa for 2 people. Amazing price and great service.

We had a poor experience. We were promised a 1 hour treatment of peeling and bath massage. In total we were in and out in 40 minutes. It’s is hot and stuffy as the spa is located in a basement and no air conditioning. Overpriced and not considered value for money.

We came to this hammam by mistake, we thought we had booked another one, we only noticed it once there, we didn't find ourselves with the details we had looked for when choosing. But it was too late, we had already paid (outside before getting off and understanding where we were ending up and I don't think it's a coincidence).
The experience was really terrible.
The place is dilapidated, in a poorly maintained, poorly looked after basement. No details to reinforce the moment, such as lights, smells.
Let's get to the rest: the two girls who took care of us were annoyed, inattentive, hasty, there was nothing pleasant, neither in the message, nor in the scrub, nor in the foam wash (it was literally getting buckets of water in your face).
We asked several times to be slow.
Haste was the sovereign of every action performed. The head massage will be unforgettable: someone violently scratches your scalp.
At every indication that we didn't understand due to the language (their English wasn't very clear to us), they revealed themselves as annoyed and not very patient. No signs of kindness and courtesy, neither during nor with the conclusion.
I had never been to a hammam, so I don't know what to do or not to do, but certainly an experience that has to do with well-being, even in a simple beauty centre, should make you feel good. None of this. Just the feeling of having ended up in a really bad place, very badly managed where you work to make up the numbers and not to give customers a pleasant experience.
We couldn't wait for it to end.
150 euros (for two) literally thrown away.
To be avoided.

This central located (a few steps away from Aya Sophia and the archeological area) hamam inside Antusia hotel is definitely less renowned than the traditional ones in Istanbul, yet our experience was brilliant.
The hamam offers different packages of service, always including sauna, steam room, scrub and massages. Tariffs depend on the duration of the program.
The staff is really professional and reliable.
I suggest a relaxing visit to Sultan Suleyman hamam when you rest for a while after having walked across Istanbul all day...

O espaço tem potencial para ser melhor. As instalações são satisfatórias mas a decoração e escolha de iluminação não é a adequada para um SPA ou um Hamam tradicional. As massagistas aplicam as técnicas satisfatoriamente, mas estão sempre a despachar. É dificil relaxar. Há muito barulho nos corredores e música a tocar que é tudo menos adequada para o efeito (quando fomos estava a tocar hip hop). Fazem as massagens com luz branca no máximo nas salas o que também não é nada relaxante.
Se não fossem tão barulhentos, usassem uma música relaxante e utilizassem as luzes com iluminação reduzida a experiência seria muito melhor.

Opted for the €60 experience which is sauna, steam room, peeling scrub, foam massage and apparently free juice and herbal tea. Flyer also says there is a swimming pool, there is not. I was rushed out of all of those rooms ever the middle part where I was sitting with tea and barely got go finish it - I had go ask for more time. The lady who massaged and washed me was okay, she smelt like body oder though! Not worth it, wouldn’t return. Place didn’t seem too cleanly. Didn’t really get a chance to properly relax here.
