My colleague and I had a true African wildlife Safari experience in Akagera see the photos. The whole experience was exceptional, marked by excellent service and thoughtful amenities.
The safari vehicle was equipped with Wi-Fi, an ample supply of water, and multiple chargers, ensuring a comfortable and convenient journey. Our tour guide was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and enthusiastic, which greatly enhanced our experience.
Throughout the safari, we observed an African famous big 5 species including a herd of elephants which were my favorite and a wide variety of wildlife, making the trip both memorable and enjoyable.
I highly recommend Afri Safaris for the lifetime safari experience in Rwanda.

My partner and I went on a 1-Day Gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda with Afri Safaris. From the beginning to the end, this was hands down the best tour operator and guide experience we've ever had. It was our first time in Rwanda and on a gorilla trekking Safari and it's very safe to say it's a must-do experience! We had a blast! We picked Afri Safaris because a colleague of mine recommended it to us and we were really glad with our choice! Afri Safaris helped us to get gorilla permits and a well organized tour.
Early morning drive from Kigali was very fantastic we enjoyed the sun rise and breathtaking view all the way to Volcanoes National Park. Kevin our driver guide was highly responsive, friendly, Knowledgeable about the country and the tour. The highlight of the trip was seeing the majestic mountain gorillas playing right in front of us for the first time in their natural habitat, it was a blast and we enjoyed the village cultural experience.
Overall, We had a lifetime experience and would totally do it again. I 100% recommend Afri Safaris

Overall, We had a lifetime experience and would totally do it again. I 100% recommend Afri Safaris

This was an absolutely phenomenal experience! As an avid traveler who has visited over forty countries, one of my top priorities when exploring a new destination is to take a local tour. It allows me to understand the community, its cultural norms, and the overall landscape. While many tours provide these basics, this one went far beyond my expectations, thanks to the incredible care and passion of my tour guide, Ben Alfa.
From the very start, it was clear that guiding isn’t just a job for Ben—it’s his calling. His deep investment in ensuring I gained a thorough understanding of both the past and present history of Kenya and Kigali was unmatched. As a native with a personal connection to the Rwandan genocide, Ben shared heartfelt, powerful accounts of this dark chapter in history. His storytelling brought the magnitude of the events to life in a way that was both sobering and deeply impactful.
What made this experience even more remarkable were the unexpected surprises along the way. I had the chance to visit a local village, try my hand at archery, dance with villagers, play the drums, and capture incredible photos for my Instagram and to share with loved ones. These immersive moments were unforgettable and added a vibrant, personal touch to the journey.
The experience was so exceptional that I immediately booked another tour—the Golden Monkey Trek—with Ben and Afri Safaris the next day. Once again, they exceeded all expectations. The scenic two-hour morning drive was breathtaking, and Ben’s expertise and enthusiasm made the entire trek unforgettable.
I can’t wait to return to Rwanda and will enthusiastically recommend Afri Safaris and Ben Alfa to my travel-loving friends. This was, without question, one of the most beautiful and enriching experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you, Ben, and the entire Afri Safaris team!

My colleague and I enjoyed gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda with Afri Safaris. The trip was well organized and worth it. The driver was really friendly and Knowledgeable. Spending one hour with mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park is an unforgettable experience in my life. The village experience was so amazing. I can’t recommend this enough

My wife and I had an amazing gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda organized by Afri Safaris. Our driver guide Harnich was really helpful and knowledgeable. Seeing mountain gorillas playing in front of us and live their best life was remarkable experience. The tour was very enjoyable and well organized. I can’t recommend this enough

My sister and I enjoyed the tour with Ben and would love to visit again in future. We visited a lot of places like kigali genocide memorial, kimoronko market and we also enjoyed the motor bike ride. Looking forward to visiting again.

I had an amazing time at the Akagera safari camp, I had an up close and personal experience with the big 5s, the highlight was the lions, I was prepped not to make noise around them but I completely lost my decorum when I came in contact with the lions, it was a magical experience for me. AFRI safari’s representative was not only professional but very nice, skilled and knowledgeable about the safari camp. I give them a 1000 percent and I recommend any day.

This was the best experience in my life. We went on one-day gorilla trekking with my colleagues in Volcanoes National Park Rwanda organized for us by Afri Safaris. The itinerary was great and it provided us with an incredible experience. Afri Safaris team made everything easy for us. Harnish was the best driver guide and friendly, he picked us up from our hotel on the time and explained to us more about the tour and experience. We had incredible time with Mountain Gorillas and after we went to the village to see more about the cultural. I highly recommend this experience

Everything was great! Before the trip I was contacted by Salua who explained everything important again and the trip itself with Ben as driver guide was just great! Ben was always very accommodating and made a great day possible for us. We always felt like he was trying to show us as much as possible without raising unrealistic hopes! Luckily we saw a herd of elephants splashing in the water, which was really great! We can highly recommend this trip!
