Nicholas was very responsive to all my emails. Bosco the driver was very knowledgeable and did everything to make sure we had a great time. I requested to Nicholas that we get a good family of gorilla's and he surely delivered.

AMAZING, Emma is the BEST!!! I went last year 2023 with Emma for an 8 day safari, gorilla trek, chimps and so much more and everyday was a "WOW" moment. This year, I brought a friend and she was blown away. The beauty of the parks, the accommodations, but all of this is nothing with out an extraordinary safari guide.
We have all ready decided we are returning next year.
Thank you Emma for being a great ambassador to Uganda & Devine African Safaris for doing the logistics.

We had an absolutely fantastic trip. Very good value in comparison to other tours, and Nicolas helped to plan the trip, but with more mid-lux accommodation as was our preference. Would absolutely recommend this company to book your trip! :D
Ibra was awesome, chilled, friendly & knowledgeable. He spoke 6 languages and couldn't do enough for us! We were delayed on our flight by 20 hours, meaning we arrived very late and behind for our Honeymoon trip! Ibra drove for 8 hours through the night to help us catch up with our trip, whilst we slept in the car to arrive at the first stop (chimp trekking) by 7am the next day - thank you so much for this Ibra!
Ibra helped us to spot a Leopard (quite rare!), multiple lions, large herds of elephants, hipps, monkeys etc. etc. After coming from the Kalahari Desert & Okavango Delta, we expected our game viewing to be over. But Uganda had so so much to offer... it really felt like the REAL Africa, and the people were friendly and welcoming & scenery absolutely beautiful!
Notes for others booking...
We had already spent a lot of our holiday in Cape Town & Botswana, so we just had a time for a 4 night + 5 day night through Uganda mainly to see Chimps, Tree Lions & Gorillas with 2 stops in between, that meant only 1 night in each place.
If we could plan again, I would have spent 2 nights near the Chimps (Kibale), and defiantly 2 nights at Bwindi (Gorillas).
There is a fair amount of driving on our itinerary which is fine, the car was comfortable enough for day naps between spots, but that's why i would recommend 6 nights instead of 4 nights - that would make it perfection! :)
Accommodation highlights... I am a sucker for wildlife, AND beautiful accommodation with great staff and a 'vibe' to it... Ndali Lodge & Buhoma Lodge were by far the best accommodations that we stayed.
- Ndali (Kibale for the Chimp Trekking) was were so authentic, felt like stepping back in time (in a very good way!) the location was beautiful and the host was awesome and friendly, a real highlight of our trip! 5 course meals by candle light overlooking the lake. Bath in room looking over the valley, and beautiful gardens...
- Buhoma Lodge (Bwindi for the Gorilla Trekking) was beautiful, a lodge in the Mist next to the walkable local village with craft stores & artists and Bwindi Local Bar which was great for mingling. This lodge offer a complimentary 30 min massage after your trek. (which we missed as we only had 1 night there).
PLEASE Do 2 nights for gorillas giving you 2 x opportunities to spend time with gorillas to see their different moods on different days, it was raining the day we were there so amazing but the gorillas were hiding from the rain a little, the day before our trek they were apparently much more active jumping through trees and youngsters playing and running past you - that's just nature, but we would have loved to spend an extra day at this lodge / village / local hikes to waterfalls in the jungle / and another shot with the gorillas :)
Overall a life changing trip that you must do! just try to squeeze it all in as we did and give this epic country a week! ;D

There is a good reason why Devine Safaris are so highly rated. It started with very good communication from Nicholas when booking this tour. Our guide Emma was exceptional. He became part of our family & not only showed us some great sites & incredible wildlife experiences, but was also great company. There was a lot of distance to cover on the 8 day tour & Emma’s driving was safe & efficient. Highly highly recommended!

We have just finished a week’s tour with this company. Our guide, Emma, was incredible. His service was outstanding. He was constantly aware of our wishes and fitted in so well with our family of three 20+ year olds.
At each activity he worked hard to help us get the most out of the situation. All the lodges were welcoming and extremely comfortable.
The highlights were the chimp and gorilla tracking which were very expensive but created very special memories that will last a life time.
We highly recommend Devine and especially Emma!

What an absolute perfect week!! The variety of the lodges and animals seen combined with the welcoming nature of the Ugandan people made this an unforgettable week.
And non of it would of been possible without the best guide in the world. Emma is the nicest, most caring and informative guide we‘ve ever experienced!! He literally became part of our family. Could not recommend him enough!!

Trip ran very smoothly. Our guide Ronald was a lovely guy, very helpful and got us where we needed to be. All the activities were very professionally run and we saw some amazing things.

The views were amazing and it was a great experience to see the Gorilla's! Once in a lifetime experience! My parents and I had an amazing time!
This activity requires one to be fit and be able to hike uphill through the forest. The tour will have an option to get a porter to help with the trek and that option is necessary.

Once in a lifetime experience Gorilla trekking. We saw a small group in a nest for about 30mins after fighting our way through dense vegetation and then we left thinking the experience was over. It wasn’t- the best was still to come, thanks to our guide Daniel and the trackers we climbed further up the hill where a family of roughly 18 gorillas (6 silverbacks) were all grazing in the open. We were literally a few steps away from these amazing animals, it was glorious. A few tips for anyone thinking of going-
1. take plenty of food and water, we hadn’t anticipated the length of time we would be away from the hotel so only brought a light breakfast and we’re pretty hungry as we didn’t get off the mountain until after 2pm so lunch was around 4pm.
2. Bring extra cash as it’s expected to tip the guide, the trackers and someone to carry your bags, as well as your driver.
3. Prepare for all weather and take layers.
4. Covid masks are provided but make sure you have your own gators, gardening gloves and plenty of storage on camera.
Finally Thankyou so much to our driver Emmanuel who shared all of his stories with us. He was very kind and knowledgeable. ENJOY! 🦍🦍🦍

Devine is an exceptional tour company that helped me enjoy a once in a lifetime vacation in Rwanda this summer. I worked with Nicholas to create a customized itinerary months prior to my vacation. He priced out everything I asked for and built an affordable 8 day trek across the country with activities including safari, gorilla trek, golden moneys tour and cultural experiences. The tour was perfectly planned and executed with the help of a wonderful and experienced guide (Ronald). He kept me safe and smiling throughout and always went the extra mile to make sure I experienced everything I was hoping for. I couldn't say enough good things about Devine and give them the highest recommendation.
