Eric and Desiree were the best guides through Kigali and Musanze. The are knowledgeable, fun and attentive to detail. I will go back again with a greater love for Rwanda and all its beauty.

Amazing trip organized by Go Further Kigali, Mariott hotel. The arrangements were done with regular updates on the status of our trip, collection at hotel was timely. The guide was well versed. We were dropped of at the gathering point on time. The guide was excellent and the scouts who located the gorillas. It was an AMAZING trip. Thanks Go Furhter !

Desiree & Eric were our guides for a business trip plus a family extension in Rwanda & I can’t speak highly enough about the both of them. Desiree continuously went above & beyond to fit our needs all while showing us beautiful Rwanda. From the city tour to Mesanze to Akagera - I’m so grateful we booked with Go Further & had Desiree as our guide. Everything was planned seamlessly, allowing us to enjoy vacation while still seeing all the sights. Her knowledge on the history, the animals, the culture - everything, top notch. I can’t wait to go back to Kigali & have told all my friends that Go Further & Des ensured we had a perfect time. Also shoutout to our amazing drivers! I always felt comfortable & safe (and well-fed!). Thank you for sharing Rwanda with us❤️

I had a fantastic time on the Kigali Working City Tour with Ange as my guide. She shared so much about Kigali and Rwanda, making the tour both engaging and informative.
What I loved most was Ange passion for helping vulnerable women in her community. As a woman, it was inspiring to discuss ideas about empowering others and creating opportunities for a better life.
I highly recommend Anne and her tour. If you’re in Kigali, don’t miss!!!it’s simply the best!

We toured Kigali and Musanze with Eric and Desiree. What a dynamic duo! They shared so many wonderful facts and stories about Rwanda, its people, and its history. They struck the right balance of imparting info without making our heads explode with too many facts! We will be back!

The Go Further team that hosted us on our school trip to Rwanda was incredible and made the trip a huge success. Our guides, Eric and Desiree, were very kind, knowledgeable, and took us on an itinerary that allowed us to see the whole country of Rwanda from North to South as well as gain a learning experience about the 1994 Genocide, all within a week. Futhermore, our bus driver, Emmanuel, was incredubly efficient in driving us twice for almost 13 hours each time, without a long break. Ibrahim, our 4WD Land Cruiser driver in Musanze, was also very kind and eager to show us the local area.
We learned a lot on this trip and left with significant memories of the country, the experiences, and the people involved. A big thanks to all involved in the planning and execution of the trip. Go futher is excellent for planning extraordinary vacations and learning experiences!

The tour guides for this organization were amazing. They're smart, funny, and great to be around. I learned so much about the history and current state of the country thanks to them. They were able to answer so many of my questions, very knowledgeable about what they do. Staying with them for a week, I have zero regrets about anything. Would definitely recommend this agency.

desiree and eric were amazing guides for our time in rwanda! from kigali to akagera national park they were so knowledgeable and talkative. not only did they know the answers to any questions i had, they were also just fun to talk to and had interesting opinions and stories. i would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Last minute, excellent trip to visit the Gorillas in Volcanos National Park. Eric was a fantastic driver and guide and looked after us to ensure we were placed in the right trekking group for our needs! Would use them again.

We can’t stop talking about how phenomenal this tour was!!! Desiree is an incredibly personable guide, and we left at the end of the day feeling as if we had made a friend in Kigali. From the milk bar to the delicious lunch (so cool to try isombe!) to the memorial this tour gave us the opportunity to see and experience a more local side of Kigali. Thank you for the stories that helped us better understand this amazing, resilient country. Desiree, Emé, and our lovely driver went out of their way to provide exceptional service — even helping us find a pharmacy for some allergy medicine. If you do one thing in Kigali, take this tour!!

Is this tour suitable for a senior citizen who tends to walk slowly?

Sure. Although they say wear comfortable walking shoes there isn’t much walking involved. They collect you and drive to different locations around the city. We went to a coffee shop, milk bar, a lane way with murals where we spoke to some local kids, a market and a couple of lookouts. It was a good afternoon and I’m sure your guide (ours was Eric) will tailor it to suit you. (Although you could consider booking a private tour as we did just to make sure.). Definitely do it .... have fun!

I am hoping to do that half day tour tomorrow - however I have a flight to catch at 4.20pm. Does anyone remember if their tour finished on time (1pm). I don't want to stress my colleague out about being late getting to the airport! I assume the tour would finish on time if the same guide then does the afternoon tour. Thanks.

Xavi here, the owner of Go Kigali.
The tours finish promptly and the latest they would ever run is 1:05pm or so. That said, when folks have a flight out, we can absolutely be back to your hotel by 1pm so you can grab your bags and head out. Or if you'd like we can help arrange a cab for you to get to the airport.
