Interesting to hear about the canals. After the tour we were allowed to wear Moroccan clothes. The guide took nice pictures. We ended the tour with a cup of delicious tea.

During our trip, we are a boy and two girls, we met the guide Abdoul Bashir on the street and he proposed us his desert tour. The proposal seemed good, so we accepted. As soon as we arrived at the camp, Abdoul Bashir started to drink, becoming soon harassing and insistent. His main attentions were directed towards the girls, repeatedly seeking excuses to touch them. At our attempts to keep his distance, he reacted aggressively on a verbal level, revealing himself to be highly unpredictable and dangerous in his reactions.
In these conditions, our experience in the desert was terrible and we felt constantly uncomfortable and in danger. We had spent nights locked inside the tent just to keep away from his presence and harassment. More than once time, he threatened us that we would be in trouble if we went outside the tent without him.
Many of the tourist proposal he had made us were not realised.

In these conditions, our experience in the desert was terrible and we felt constantly uncomfortable and in danger. We had spent nights locked inside the tent just to keep away from his presence and harassment. More than once time, he threatened us that we would be in trouble if we went outside the tent without him.
Many of the tourist proposal he had made us were not realised.

Beautiful place, with special people and excellent hospitality! If you want to take a trip to the desert or camel excursions, contact Abdoul, who will be able to treat you best.

Went by today to visit the underground irrigation canals. Nice experience to see everything and received a good explanation from the gentleman, including some words in Dutch! Had a delicious cup of tea afterwards. Highly recommended to stop here!

Visita muy interesante y muy bien comentada por Karim Abdul. Muestra los túneles para transporte de agua desde una fuente situada a 45 km hacia los palmerales y que cuentan con más de X siglos de antigüedad. Cuenta cómo se organizaban por tribus y familias.

Haben die unterirdischen Brunnen besucht. Ein tolles Urlaubserlebnis. Sehr freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Schöne Führung mit viel Wissen. Der vorher verhandelte Preis wurde nicht weiter diskutiert.

We hebben een bezoek gebracht aan de Khettaras, een eeuwenoude ondergrondse watervoorziening. We kregen een rondleiding van Karim, een zeer vriendelijke, goed Engels sprekende gids die ons goed kon uitleggen hoe het werkte. De rondleiding afgesloten met een heerlijke Marokkaanse kruidenthee.
