Le mille sfaccettature di D’Annunzio si percepiscono nella creazione di questa dimora eccentrica e magica.
Peccato non aver potuto visitare la casa ma ci siamo goduti tutto il resto.
La cosa che più mi ha colpito è stata la nave Puglia smontata e incastonata nella collina!
Una collina occupata da una nave , la cascata, il Mausoleo , il teatro .. una città dentro una casa. Merita davvero una visita .
Parcheggio a pagamento poco distante .
Peccato non aver potuto visitare la casa ma ci siamo goduti tutto il resto.

Ho visitato sabato scorso il Vittoriale degli Italiani. Bellissima location da gustare sia la parte esterna ,molto variegata, con punti per ammirare il panorama del lago , sia dall'anfiteatro, sia nel punto ora si trova la nave Puglia. La casa-museo ha una facciata settecentesca e raccoglie tutti i momenti intimi dell'uomo Gabriele D'Annunzio . Tantissimi tappeti ,tantissimi arazzi , tantissime ceramiche e tanta creatività . La giornata era totalmente piovosa . Per questo mi sono ripromessa di rivederla in una giornata di sole per assaporare i giardini circostanti che si snodano sino al lago.

the park of the Victorian is spectacular, with many panoramic views and settings to see. Beautiful ship and fountain of dances. D'Annunzio's house is visible only with the guide: unfortunately the guided tours are very fast and leave no time to admire the rooms as they are programmed in close sequence of a few minutes from each other.
On the other hand the guides are very kind and helpful, as well as competent. Very expensive parking

magical place that evokes the character and grandeur of the Vate. A dive into the history and personality of the Commander that opens a memory about a heroic past not to be forgotten. Guided tour of the quality house with Davide really good at outlining the peculiarities of the place and D'Annunzio. Definitely to be reviewed especially with a beautiful sunny day for fairytale scenery.

Impressive. I didn't see that coming. All very interesting and nice to visit. Regardless of the ideas it is worth the visit as it is like taking a dip in the past and history. Too bad only for the sunny and a bit cold day.

I did not imagine such a place, the house of D'Annunzio certainly does not go unnoticed even to those who do not like the genre, the bow of the ship set in the mountain if you think of a work made 100 years ago d'impressive.Really a wonderful surprise

The Proria really unique and particular, you perfectly understand the bizarre and eccentric personality of the poet.
The wonderful park and pleasant walking, it was a sunny day.
The clear and concise guide, however, I would like to say a few words for the speed with which the visit ended.
Very little time has been devoted to each room and the house is so rich in objects and history that it would have deserved more insight. At the end of the house you can see a film in the Auditorium where his story is told again, but I think it is much more interesting to have a guide who explains in detail what is present in the house, seeing with his own eyes.
The visits are organized 7 minutes apart, which suggests that you want to speed up the visits as much as possible to accommodate more customers...
I also read that there would be more rooms that I was not aware of, not open even if in the past they were.
It is the second time I visit D’Annunzio’s house and I noticed that each guide is charged with dedicating no more than two minutes to each room, it is so fascinating that I would like to know more.
Overall, a wonderful place.

I state that I had already been there 6 years ago and today I wanted to accompany my 8-year-old daughter, very curious to show her this surreal and fantastic journey inside the house of D'Annunzio.
The whole complex is always kept perfectly well, but unfortunately I must admit that the ticket now costs per adult 18 euros compared to 11 euros 6 years ago... and that once we went around the house (with a very prepared guide) we were told that immediately after the most modern room in the entire building the visit was over...
I then had to ask why they did not let us visit instead the room of the official girlfriend and the rooms reserved for the various lovers of D'Annunzio since I remembered them very well from last time.
I am aware that the rooms are accessible for some years only on certain days of the year as they are precarious (especially the floors).
In my opinion, given also how much you pay for the single ticket, it would be important that this detail be specified, also because I had to ask personally about the non-visit of the same after personal memory, a person who had gone now, would not know absolutely. And I think that maybe after years they should have been properly restored given the importance of this complex.

Come si vede dalla platea laterale non numerata? La visibilità è veramente limitata?

Buongiorno volevo sapere le seguenti cose: 1)se e' necessario il biglietto cartaceo o se basta sullo smartphone, poiché meteo permettendo, lo prenoterei al massimo un paio di giorni prima e non potrei stamparlo essendo in hotel; 2)se c'è un pacchetto famiglia per 4 persone (2 adulti e due ragazzi di 17 e 14 anni); 3)dove è possibile parcheggiare nei pressi. Consiglio di prenotare se vuoi un orario in particolare altrimenti li sul posto li puoi fare ma per la visita all aPrioria devi accontentarti dei posti rimasti liberi. Esempio noi ci siamo stati al secondo turno circa le 8.30 prenotati ma in biglietteria i primi posti liberi per i non prenotati erano alle 11.00

Dipende, la visita della casa, tra attesa all'ingresso e la visita, dura circa un'oretta scarsa, per il resto dipende da quanto volete restare: noi siamo entrati alle 09:00 con ilprimo turno e siamo usciti alle 15:00 causa mosi della fame.
