Fully booked,most visiters 20-30 yrs.
3 saunas:All of then not heated well,there was about 60-70 ° which is not enoug for finnish sauna and winter swinning.
Lots of noise,people sitting in sauna with alcohol drinks.
Dressing room very small and you have to leave your coat and shoes to different place without locks at your own risk.
Good:You get a towel and there is shampoo and body wash to use.
Though nice place,but price is too high (25 euros) and this has almost nothing to do with traditional finnish sauna.

I went last month early October on a Thursday and booked for a public spot around 1pm-3pm. This is a very good place. They have 3 saunas. The traditional Finnish sauna, the private sauna (which luckily I was able to use as there was no booking) and the normal sauna. The best is the traditional one I felt heat go through my body like no other experience and I have been in other traditional ones as I’ve stayed in Finnish homes. This is always come back to. The area to go dip in the sea is amazing and it wasn’t that cold it’s very refreshing. I was in a rush to get here as I had no lunch ordered their salmon soup and a beer - fantastic food. I highly recommend. The only negative is that if a big group of people come in it can become loud and noisy. They should make rules to make people not talk in the sauna. If you can find a quiet time like I did from 1-2 before that big group of people came in it’ll be a fantastic experience. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Helsinki!

Great spa with access to the Baltic sea for an extra cold experience to pump the blood round.
The only negative is the changing rooms - a real scrum and bun fight to try and get any space to get changed

After researching extensively, Loyly was heavily suggested, and it was one of the few saunas which were open on Monday and allowed mixed genders, so we decided to book before we came to Helsinki.
We booked our slot from 20:00-22:00, we arrived just before 20:00 and were served by two friendly ladies who explained where everything was and handed us our towels and locker keys. The locker rooms are unbelievably small given the number of lockers they have, so it’s slightly difficult to navigate getting changed and getting to your locker when there’s a few people in there. I dread to think what it’s like on the weekend!
There were only two saunas open instead of three but after reading the reviews this seems to be a common occurrence. The two saunas which were open were decent but for the size of the establishment and how busy it can get, I was expecting bigger saunas as even we noticed that sometimes they were both full. Beware some people (guessing they’re locals) will come in and pour water over the rocks without asking, this didn’t bother me because I have a high tolerance to heat; but if you don’t, be prepared to move out quickly.
There are communal showers with hot and cold water available. There’s a jetty with two rails which take you directly to the Baltic Sea. The water is very shallow with large, sharp rocks, so make sure you don’t run and jump in! It’s nice that the sauna is separate from the restaurant and outdoor dining area as I would’ve felt uncomfortable wandering around half naked whilst people were eating. I’d suggest bringing another towel with you, as we found after getting in the water we’d use the towels to dry off, but when we went to shower then get changed, the towels were still wet.
They have multiple seating inside and out if you fancy a break from the heat. They also have a log fire with comfy sofas and tap water available to keep you hydrated. You also have the option to set up a tab, if you’d like to have any soft or alcohol drinks.
Overall, a brilliant experience to immerse yourself into the finish culture. Slightly let down that only two saunas were available and that the locker rooms were very small.

I decided to try out the sauna experience when in Finland to see what all the fuss was about. I booked two hours (€25) the week before, for Sunday morning. It was busy, the booking is recommended.
There are several sauna rooms and an outdoor relaxing area, with the option to dip into the sea. Which I did.
I have no comparable so I'll rate it very good. Saunas are not really my things but I said I would try it, especially as there is little to actually do in Helsinki.
Staff were polite and pleasant. The premises was spotless.

Amazing! Went on a break from a conference with friends and enjoyed every minute of the saunas. We then stayed for food and drinks at the restaurant. Must try. Sitting in a sauna overlooking the water is amazing.

Very good organization for the reception at the sauna and the restaurant.
Very pleasant and clean spaces, warm atmosphere, magnificent view.

We visited this public sauna as a group. The sauna is next to the sea, with on street parking.
You enter via a reception, we prebooked as there are busy times. You have a time slot, eg 2 hours. Collect a locker key and towels.
On our visit there were 4 saunas in use, a couple of smoke saunas which are heated once a day, and a couple of electric ones.
Between saunas you can go for a swim in the sea, or sunbathe.
For those who are less well sighted, there are some glass panels to be aware of.
There is also a cafe if you wish, afterwards.

It is a fantastic place. Used their wood burning sauna and swam in the Baltic Sea. The sauna was nice and hot with great view, and the sea was cold, around 4C (40F). It was very refreshing going from one to the other.
The restaurant there is great too.
I can only recommend it!

There is no barrier or pool, you can swim directly in the open sea but on the shore and with the possibility of staying on the ladder

I saw kids there who seemed to be around 10. As a matter of fact, I believe that experience might be more important than age here. Temperature is pretty high in sauna.

Hi there, were you allowed to have phones/GoPros in the sauna before jumping into the ocean outside? Or would you have to leave the sauna and go back to your locker first? I may want to document the jumping experience.

Hi, it is allowed to get your phone into sauna, but I recommed to leave it in locker. Sauna is hot and steamy, it can be harmful to the equipment. And it is easy to pick up from locker before going to sea.

Yes. Be aware swim suit required as is mixed women and men sauna. Most children I saw were older than 10 years old and seemed to be experienced with sauna culture, which is more important than age.
