We booked a private tour with Chrisula. Already at the pick up we were warmly welcomed. This tour was unique.

'Visit north Greece' is a competent small company. It's Stelios and his wife. Stelios is a great person, open, respectfully, cordial an new a lot about his island. If we would 'just' hang around with them, we also would love this.
We booked a private Jeep Tour in the office (shared with Europe car, directly on the harbour of limenas). We made a pre-payment of 50€, that was taken off when we made the full payment, after the trip.
On this day (about 7 h) we got a perfect overview of the island. It was ideal as a start to our holiday and we could make decisions based on it. What we would like to see more of the island. Regions, sights, beaches, restaurants, museums etc.
Tip: If you are unsure about English, Stelios wife speaks German.
I wish you and your family all the best.

We have been on a Jeep Safari Tour with Stelios in October 2024. It was just like a dream in many points!
Let's begin with Stelios: He is such a great, funny and skilled person. We felt safe at every moment and he knows like everything about Thassos and its nature including herbs in nature which he showed to and collected with us. I felt like being on tour with the "survival man" of Thassos.
The tour went through ways and places in the hills and at the coast which just seemed unreal referred to the beauty. If you see such landscapes in films you think it was created digitally, but there it was just reality.
We also got great tips from Stelios for places we can visit with a rental car or motorcycle and for delicious restaurants.
I can fully recommend the tour and want to say again: THANK YOU Stelios for this perfect day! Hope we will meet again!

Our walking group , Boyle Curlew Walkers from Co Roscommon, Ireland, had a superb week with Stelios and Chrisula, owners of Visit North Greece. Lovely welcoming hotel, fabulous walks, delicious lunches and first-rate professional service from beginning to end. One of our best trips. I could not recommend them more highly. Thanks Stelios and Chrisula for everything.

Very reasonably priced,scenic, and informative trip. Our lovely guide was Chrisula who was passionate about Thassos' beauty and history. She shared her knowledge with warmth and humour.
Starting with the peaceful Lake Marian, with its resident turtles and waterfall, and then onto a local marble quarry. Fascinating to hear about the worth and influence of the island's riches.
Mount Ipsarion's views were stunning & taken in whilst we had the snack that Chrisula had thoughtfully provided.
The historic mountain village of Kastro has been tastefully restored, and the hub of its hospitality was Kosta and his wife's taverna "Kostas". Chance to taste Thrassian local wine and its spirit,Tsipouro, was offered freely! Its church was beautiful, too. Yet to try the local black pine honey & other treats bought whilst there.
Highly recommended.

We did the jeep safari and everything from booking, pick up to the safari itself was great. Stelios is a fabulous local guide who could tell us a lot about Thassos. Thanks Chrisula and Stelios for the amazing experience!

Wir haben eine Jeep-Tour mit Stelios unternommen. Um es kurz zu machen: es war großartig! Wir haben viele interessante Plätze der Insel sehen können, u. a. den Gipfel des Ipsarion, das Bergdorf Castro inkl. Besuch der Taverne von Kosta, einen wunderschönen Wasserfall u.a. Stelios konnte uns viel über die Insel, deren Geschichte, Kräuter am Wegesrand und noch vieles mehr erzählen. Der Tag verging wie im Flug. Volle Empfehlung!

Ich habe heute eine private Jeep Tour gemeinsam mit meinem Partner gemacht. Wir hatten einen super freundlichen, aufmerksamen und kompetenten Guide namens Stel ios.
Stel ios hat und bis auf den höchsten Punkt der Insel gebracht: Ipsarion (1206m). Auf dem Weg hat er uns viel zur Kultur, den Menschen und das Leben auf der Insel erzählt. Zudem war immer Zeit für ein Foto.
Ein weiteres Highlight neben Isparion war das Dorf Kastro verbunden mit einem Lunch bei Costa. Die Tour endete nach 10h, wovon ursprünglich nur 7h geplant waren - das spiegelt das Engagement des Guides wieder.
Wir würden die Jeep Tour jederzeit wieder buchen.

Meine Freundin und ich nahmen am 2. August 2020 an dieser tollen Tour über die sehr natürliche und grüne Insel Thassos teil. In mehreren Stopps an verschiedenen Stellen erfährt man eine Menge über die Natur, die Kultur und die Geschichte der Insel. Unser Guide kannte sich auch sehr gut mit der Pflanzenwelt aus und zeigte uns bei jeder Gelegenheit wild-wachsende Kräuter.
Wir würden diese Tour unbedingt weiter empfehlen, denn so kommt man an Orte und bekommt Informationen, die man so nicht bekommt.
