I really feel disappointed not only for this beach but in general for the island...
A PARADISE THAT IS BEING EXPLOITED BY SOME TO SACRIFICE...
Umbrellas with 70/50/40€ Why?
*Fortunately, there is room to put your towel on. The beach is wonderful and worth a visit!

Beautiful coves with clean sea, clear water where you can swim with a mask and take a ride with pedal boats or jet skis. You can stay in the establishments or on the free beach.

We had a really nice day at this beach. I had read mixed reviews about loud music and expensive lounge chairs. I think that may be the case at the ‘On the Rocks’ beach club that was further down. But here’s what we did…
We took the water taxi from Noussa to the beach. It was €10 per person round trip. The water taxi dropped us off and we walked from the pier to the 2nd or 3rd little ‘inlet” with beach chairs. The name of this “beach club” was Anemos. They charged €15 per lounge chair (you could pay €40 for 2 loungers with an umbrella). The standard lounge chairs had a hood-type contraption though so you could shield your face from the sun. We chose these. We brought our own towels but you can also rent theirs. You can order food and drinks right to your chair and the servers were very nice. It was all very civilized and simple. We walked up the hill and ate lunch at a very nice restaurant called Marema then came back to our chairs on the beach. It was a great day… oh and the beach is beautiful!!

Caught the water taxi (boat) to and from the beach for 10 euro return. Left Naousa port at 4 and returned at 6pm. That was plenty of time to experience the unique rock formations on the beach and swim in the clear water. Music from the beach clubs could be a bit overwhelming if you were there for longer and wanting to relax.

It could have been much better. Views of the rock formations were stunning but spoilt with people on them because they don't want to pay the extortionate prices of the sunbeds!!!

Beautiful landscape that some take advantage of asking for 80€ the sunbeds with minimum consumption from their store 70€.I would not go again.

The fact that this "beach" is ranked consistently #1 or #2 on Paros is actually quite shocking to me. It is FAR from a top beach.
My wife and I...excited about visiting this beach for our first day of jet-lag induced relaxing couldn't have been more disappointed. Its a muddy beach #1...small areas to lay out and stretch narrowly away from the water because of the rock formations, not along the water. OK...here are some cushioned sun beds under umbrellas. Oh...if you want the section close to the water, that'll be 70 Euro PLUS a mandatory 60 Euro deposit toward lunch at the "On the Rocks" restaurant behind the beach. Don't spend all 60 Euro? Thanks for the big tip (no refunds). Want the chairs back away from the water in the muddier section with no breeze because you're between the rocks...70 Euro, but no mandatory lunch deposit required.
The water is great...clear, clean, and comfortable. But, you're looking at a ton of small boats/water craft directly in front of you. The cove in front of you is just crowded with them, and ruins the view. Then you've got the sales people. Multiple guys with a tray of huge donuts coming by literally every 7-10 minutes yelling "Donuts!, Donuts!"...I mean it was constant the entire time we were there. Then the girl with the fresh but fruit bowls...then the two guys walking up with their arms full of bathing suits, bathing suit covers (ladies), shirts, etc. walking up to you while you're trying to read a book or listen to music to interrupt you and ask if you want them to lay stuff out for a look to buy. OMG IT WAS SO ANNOYING! You just can't relax on this beach. Oh...and the rock formations around the shoreline are cool...but everything below the water is covered in sea moss and slippery as heck. I saw a young girl slip and fall and crack her elbow...crying all the way to the car as the her parents packed up and they drove away.
Oh and the music they were piping in from the "On the Rocks" restaurant...60's. I kid you not..."Big Girls Don't Cry", "I heard it through the Grapevine"...I couldn't believe it. The WORST beach music ever.
Move to the next cove over on the other side of the rocks, and now you're next to an ugly concrete boat dock.
Visit this beach...check it out for 10-15 minutes because it's visually interesting. Then leave, and drive to Golden Beach, New Golden Beach, or Faragas beach...all really nice beaches (I'll review separately). I also don't recommend Santa Maria beach (FYI). Don't forget the nice beaches on Antiparos!
Don't let this review discourage you about Paros....a BEAUTIFUL and very cool island with some great towns/villages. One of my favorite Greek Islands for sure. This review is about this beach, and that's it.

Very nice beach. Fantastic waters. Very expensive sunbeds like everywhere else in Paros. Precise services without the corresponding quality.

Having been to other beaches in Greece and especially the Cyclades , it looked more like a lagoon than a coast. It's nice for a close and short dive but for nothing more

We arrive on this small beach and expect even more. There are many people and it is very difficult to find a small place. The setting is nevertheless superb.

How do we get in the beach from Naoussa if we don’t have a car??

What weather can I expect in May on Paros and is the water warm on most beaches on the isl

Hi,
I will be visiting paros end of march, I was wondering whether the water at Kolymbethres Beach will be too cold to swim in? were you there in January and was the water warm enough?
Yazıldığı tarih: 21 Mart 2018
Deepika,
I went to Kolymbethres Beach in late August when the water and the weather are warm.
In March the temperature is usually in the mid teens 14 to 18 degrees Celsius and so is the water temperature. Paros is windy almost all year round

Hi everyone,
I saw you could get to Kolymbithres Beach by "kaiki" boat... does the service run frequently?
Thanks,

Yazıldığı tarih: 7 Ekim 2017
Yes, this boat was very frequent every 15 minutes or so from the main port.
Kind regards
