Very interesting in itself, but Maria Pia makes it special through her way of telling it. We really liked it and had something very exclusive.

We thought we were just going to enjoy a nice tour of Juliet's home, but got so much more. The history of the area, being advised that we were walking on ancient fossils in the marble on the ground, and then looking up at the different centuries and identifying each style of architecture was very helpful for the rest of our time throughout Italy. Verona was so much more than we expected. This was easily the most informative tour we did in any city in Italy, we did 6 tours. Our guide was very entertaining, funny, had a great understandable accent, and we appreciated the earpiece while she spoke in her microphone. The only drawback was our schedule and we had to leave early just as she was wrapping up. Highly recommend this great tour.

If you love history, architecture, Romeo and Juliet, or the movie Letters to Juliet, this is the perfect tour for you! Maria was the perfect Tour Guide! As we walked through Verona, she shared the city's historical importance, explained the architecture, told the true story of Romeo e Giuletta, and showed filming locations for the movie "Letters to Juliet." Even though the line to see Juliete's courtyard was 4-5 blocks long, Maria had a secret "Skip the Line"!!!. At the end of the tour, she took us to the restaurant in the movie "Letters to Juliet," and we made lunch reservations. It was an amazing tour, and Maria was a wonderful hostess to Verona.

Maria Pia was wonderful! Such an expressive guide, with fun and fascinating knowledge of the city, having grown up as a local.
She also very kindly allowed us to move our date at very short notice when we had to reschedule our holiday. Thank you again Maria, it was well worth the wait! ❤️

you can taste different kinds of spritz and decide if you like it more sweet or sour, so everyone can find their perfect spritz. Also you get a little tour through Verona with amazing stories and legends around it. The guide really has a talent for storytelling.

It was a beautiful moonlight experience for the historical and characteristic corners of Verona ❤️ The Guide who accompanied us (I seem to remember that her name was Maria) was very cute, professional, competent, empathetic, engaging and ironic and accompanied us on this journey through Verona with a narration and a story with these registers... I was thrilled

My 4 kids ages 16-20 and I (mum) thought our Dark History tour with Frank was excellent. Fascinating, engaging, with great stories and he obviously knows his stuff. The kiddos really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Loved loved loved this little tour. Our guide was so relatable (to 3 teenagers) and informative and made us laugh. She was fantastic and we really enjoyed the “tour”. Thank you for making a hot Verona day enjoyable!

Maria Pia was the most wonderful guide for a 3 hour tour of Verona finishing with Juliet’s house and balcony. Her knowledge of the subject was fantastic and she delivers her stories with such character and love. It was very hot but Maria made sure we had plenty of shady diversions to cool down plus water stops. I would 100% recommend Maria Pia …. You won’t be disappointed.

You offer 4 different tours with 4 different names but I do not see a separate description for the 4 tours. Is the only difference the start time? thank you - Julie

I see your question only now !!! (I'm not very good with these things). It's probably too late for you, but just in case someone else is interested: the 4 tours are completely different, they cover different parts of the city and with a different approach. Fascinating Verona is more a classical tour to discover the city, Cruel & Mysterious Verona is based on some of the cruel historical events that have happened here, Passionate Verona is the story of Romeo and Juliet as we believe it really happened, with the visit of the various places involved, and Moonlit Verona is a charming evening walk along the river and the discovery of the most breath-taking views and captivating corners. So much so that it often happens that clients who have attended one of the tours decide to take part in another one as well. But clicking on each tour you can read their full descriptions.
