Verona is a delightful city to visit both because it is beautiful and because it has a historic center full of monuments to see. Since not very big you can safely walk around so you can admire everything around you. A must is Juliet's house with its historic balcony, followed by the beautiful arena that is suggestive both inside and outside, the Scaligero castle with its museum, the suggestive Castelvecchio bridge, the Lamberti tower, the Stone bridge, castel San Pietro which is reached by cable car and then admire the view over Verona, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza Bra. All very pleasant and delicious. Also Verona in the central area is full of beautiful shops and eye-catching windows, has many places to eat, well-organized minimarket, luggage storage. What about: a real wedding favor to be gently unwrapped. Then 3 full days are enough to admire it and from Rome with 3 hours and 15 minutes is a sprint.

Our walking tour with Maria was perfect! Maria's English is excellent and her in depth knowledge of Verona and its history is outstanding. Her knowledge was only exceeded by her personality and attention to our interests. I can't imagine a better way to be introduced to this magnificent place.

We enjoyed our tour with Frank: he was really knowledgeable about Verona and its history and really brought it to life for us!

Highly recommended tour. Had a very knowledgeable and passionate guide and were made to feel very welcome to this great city. We were shown highlights that we would never had discovered on our own. Great value and a good way to familiarise yourself with Verona.

Great individual tour around and through the arena incl. admission. We were able to explore the arena alone after the guided tour. Isabella is a great guide, we liked it a lot.

Excellent walking tour with Andrea. We were the only ones so we received a private tour. Andrea is a delight!
She is so knowledgeable and explains everything regarding history and current events. She spent over two hours with us and we were sad it ended, I could’ve spent the entire day with her.
After taking another tour the following day with a similar itinerary, we could see the major differences because Andrea had been so thorough the previous day. We felt bad for the others as we saw ourselves quietly sharing our knowledge because the tour guide was just walking silently.

I love this class. I have done it three times—once solo, once with my mom, and once with friends. Christina is so funny and knowledgeable, and she has a great team around her. Christina makes everything easy to understand, and she gets the whole class involved with cheering, group work, and general laughter. The recipes are simple yet delicious, easily replicated (with fresh ingredients!). Christina has even been kind enough to recognize me after my first visit and change up the pasta type. I’ve now made 3 different pastas with her alone. And the risotto recipe changes with the season, so every time I get something new. My friends and family enjoyed their classes as well. I’ll be back!

I decided to do a walking tour, as it was my first time in Verona. It was really good to do this tour and learn more about Verona and have some of the guides recommendations. The guide was so friendly and kind. I would recommend this tour :)

It’s not very walkable but should be a quick ferry ride to the meeting point, which is at the car park area. You can email them directly or contact them via their website for more information

Are these tours suited to solo travelers, or are most participants groups/couples?

Hi. We have an apartment in verona and there will be a total of 12 adults visiting from the US that we thought doing the walking food tour would be great. We want to be sure they get a tour of the arena as well as the food walking tour. We would like it to be a private group for,the 12 of us perhaps starting at 10 am on September 29. I will be in Verona from September 25th to September 29th. I was wondering if you will have any cooking classes on those dates? If so, how do they work?

Hi BrunaBastos, we have cooking lessons almost everyday, so I think it will not be a problem. During the standard class you'll learn how to make traditional handmade fresh pasta, or gnocchi, also prepare a risotto and the typical Italian dessert Tiramisù.
