A model dairy and a perfect visit. Excellent organization in a perfectly maintained production site. Excellent Guide who with perfect English guided us in the world of Parmigiano Reggiano.

Company shop of a dairy consortium Parmigiano Reggiano. helpful and kind staff also to provide small details regarding the differences between the classic Parmigiano Reggiano in different seasons, that from red cows, brown cows or raised in the high mountains; small details not always obvious. also available food and wine products of local companies from products in oil, dry biscuits, pasta, cold cuts. Also some small souvenir kitchen utensil. for those facing a long trip available with Container and ice to keep the temperature

Brilliant place to visit if you like parmesan cheese. After the visit you might stop liking, and start loving, parmesan.

We arrived to purchase a form but we hadn't ordered before, even though it was Sunday, the lady at the counter was very kind, she called her colleagues inside and accommodated us. Form 24 months and more we purchased other things. Excellent products, exceptional cheese, it's already the third time we've been back. We learned to know Giuliano, the company's cheesemaker, a kind-hearted, helpful and very welcoming person. Top company. Congratulations to all

Definitely a good parmesan, shame about the lack of attention to the customer.
Today I went to the Baggiovara shop where I have been going since before it became 4 Madonnas (and now I understand the reason for the name) and after taking
several kg of cheese I ask if it is possible to have a couple of paper bags (with a value of 0, nothing) more to keep it fresh in the refrigerator once opened and with extreme amazement I hear the answer that they are paid for! Increasing prices by taking away service and flexibility certainly does not improve customer experience, advice: study! You have lost a customer

We got a comprehensive and simple description of the different parmesan cheeses from younger to older. After that we tasted different types stored from 12 to 36 months.

Kindness, courtesy and availability. I have been a customer for 11 years now. Unfortunately, in this last supply there were 2 kg missing and they were sent back to me immediately. Excellent quality parmesan. Thank you so much ❤️ to all the staff who work in the dairy.

This was a comprehensive and fascinating tour of a Parmesan factory, starting with an explanation of the breeds of cows used for the milk!
Our guide spoke superb English and explained every stage of the process very clearly. The cheese production starts in the morning and stops for the day at noon, so we weren’t able to see the actual mixing process, but we were shown the huge room where this happens and were then talked through some video clips.
We then saw the rest of the production from that morning’s cheeses being squeezed and shaped to the final finished product. Fascinating!
Of course we got to taste afterwards: a range of ages and types, followed by a visit to the great shop which has not only an extensive range of their product but also other typical Italian items such as conserves, pastas etc.
Compared to the UK, prices were incredibly low - our supermarket prices for such a high quality product that would be exclusive at home!
A fascinating and tasty experience!

The most amazing tour, the staff were incredibly friendly and so knowledgeable. Booking was super easy and everything was perfect. We managed to see this place in the morning (taxi from station circa €20 for 4 people), great to see the process and production of the baby parmigiano reggiano, the tastings were amazing as well and the shop really reasonable prices. The only downside was it would of been good to have a coffee after but this wasn’t available in the shop. Not a problem but we would have spent more in there if they had drinks for sale. We walked to the village after for an incredibly authentic lunch and then on to the Acetaia for a superb experience. Then a short walk to the train station and back into Modena.

Good morning, Friday 22 March 2024 I came to get some loose ricotta, which according to the shop assistant was not present, so she advised me to buy packaged ricotta, which the young shop assistant told me was 300 gr (so I have I took three), given that no weight of the ricotta was written on the package, but when I got home I weighed the ricotta and instead it was 200 g, and I don't understand why the weight is not indicated on the packaged ricotta product, which it is mandatory for everyone (it is not possible to sell a packaged product without the correct weight)

Buongiorno e grazie per il tempo che ha dedicato alla sua recensione.
Ci teniamo a chiarire che la ricotta, viene prodotta e confezionata da noi e, a seconda della quantità disponibile al momento, la mettiamo nelle vaschette.
Ciò spiega il motivo per cui non possiamo indicare il peso sull’etichetta della ricotta.
Il fraintendimento, tuttavia, è nato dalla nostra commessa che le ha erroneamente comunicato che nella confezione c’erano 300 grammi, ma in realtà lei ha pagato soltanto il peso effettivo della ricotta che era contenuto nella confezione, quindi 200 grammi.
Anche se quanto da lei pagato risulta corretto, ci scusiamo comunque per il disguido nello scambio di informazioni.
