Absolutely awful, don’t waste your money! We’ve been to other Escape Rooms and the Watford Escape Hunt is not worth wasting your hard earned money. On arrival there were no staff manning the place (although we’d made a booking and called a day prior to confirm) … the first thing a member of staff came over to say when they did eventually rock up was that my son couldn’t eat the biscuit he’d been eating on the way down on their premises! I mean anyone would think we’d walked in with a happy meal! No warm welcome whatsoever … this got progressively worse as we were left standing around for a good 15mins. When an employee Eveline finally decided to serve us she made it clear she didn’t want to be there and customer service was below zero, no welcome, no eye contact she didn’t even look up beyond the fringe of her hair. She then proceeded to speak to us like we were imbeciles and not paying for the privilege to being spoken to like dirt on her shoe. We were then put into the wrong experience, having solved the first clue we were then evicted and moved … completely amateur, unprofessional outfit which is run by 16 year old misfits of society none of which want to be there, all look miserable and couldn’t care less about customers. I’ve seen more excitement and life in a morgue!
The experience itself is also p*ss poor compared to other Escape Rooms we have done previously. Minimal effort and not at all realistic and don’t forget it’s not cheap!

Had a great time playing the Alice in Wonderland room in Watford. The set was lovely and the room was trickier than we expected. Made it out with 5 minutes to spare but needed a few clues to crack it. It was about the right size room for 2 people.
Kayleigh was an excellent Games Host - her hints were delivered beautifully and gently nudged us in the right direction when we asked.
All in all, a great way to spend an hour.

It is good, the staff were friendly and helpful but it is very expensive for what it is. For 7 people I paid £189 for an hour doing puzzles. It was well set up though.

We felt challenged enough to work as a team and listen to each other.
Great fun working out how all the clues piece together.
We very much enjoyed and managed to escape.
Recommend for family groups, friends or team bonding. Staff for a very pleasant and helpful our host Jasmine and Lauren were excellent. .

The experience from start to finish was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would happily go back and also happily recommend others to try it out. Go hunt in Watford well worth it.

Such great fun although did find it challenging. Only just completed it in time. Have been multiple times and each experience is totally different.

Been a few times to Escape Hunt Watford, loved every time. Went today and completed Our Finest Hour - most challenging one we have done yet so great to finish it. Our game leader Evelyn was fantastic - we will definitely be back

Do children under 16 pay the full price of an adult?

Yes but discounts on some weekdays not weekends. Same for oldies like me! So it’s cost me full price for all. Great fun though
