Excellent experience. Three family members had flights as Christmas presents. Front of house staff well very helpful. Flight experience just amazing. V clear safety breifing and instructions. Amazing feeling to fly! Will was just so amazing as an instructor. Definity recommend!!!!!

We bought 10 flights for up to 5 people and paid £126.99. We arrived at 10:30 for the 10:45 “report time” because we knew the car park can be manic and we had an hour to travel. Thank goodness we did because I’d forgotten to do my husband’s waiver. The man on reception was lovely and sent us upstairs to spectate until our 11am briefing.
Our instructor was Will who was clear with instructions, showed us how to pose and was really kind with my boys.
Although the flights were short it was still a lot of fun. I recommend a few flights because the first one goes by in a whirl!
Overall we’d go back, but I’d book a few flights again, just one isn’t enough. 5* experience and if you can, ask for Will, he seems to be popular in reviews on here!

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I have been in contact to complain a few times and they have stopped answering.
My children weren’t given the correct instructions to complete the flight and so panicked and weren’t helped at all to resolve. Afterwards the instructor said oh all you needed to do was this. If they had that instruction before going in they would have been able to carry on. Staff and owner are dismissive and unhelpful. They do not want to learn from mistakes and are all about the money. They offered us a voucher but we drove 5 hours to get there so a voucher isn’t helpful.

Have been before, you used to see a countdown of how long you got in the chamber. The latest scam involves them putting a graphic on the screen so you can’t see that you have less time. This was confirmed to me by someone who works there. Make sure you check your videos to check you get all your time on each go.

The duration of each flight is carefully timed, and though we do use visual displays for operational purposes, your flight time shouldn't be affected by graphics on the screen. Rest assured, our sessions are designed to offer slightly longer than traditional tandem skydives.

Fantastic experience, can’t really compare to any other, not easy though! You only get 60seconds per go, so difficult to find your feet (or not your feet if you know what I mean). Instructors very knowledgeable and helped where possible. Recommend the high fly, although not cheap at £15 for about 10seconds. I did two goes but felt like I need more to real enjoy, maybe more of a reflection on my ability.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! I'm thrilled to hear you had a fantastic time, and I completely understand that it's a unique challenge to get the hang of flying in just 60 seconds. It's one of the reasons why many first-time flyers opt for packages with additional flights to really make the most out of their experience.
The High-Flight is definitely a special addition to the adventure, adding that dynamic twist! While it does come at an extra cost, most find the thrill well worth it.

My disappointment with iFly Basingstoke is beyond words. This visit was supposed to be a gift, an unforgettable adventure full of joy and excitement. Unfortunately, it turned into a display of unprofessionalism and unmet expectations.
I had booked a package in advance, which included certain flights, and I was confident that my daughter and her friend would receive the full range of services promised. However, reality was far from what we expected. The children never received the promised flight on the paragliding simulator, which was included in the price. Instead, they were offered an additional High Flight without any explanation that it was not part of the package and would cost an extra £30. Only upon leaving were they suddenly informed that they had to pay for it.
The children were shocked and completely taken aback. At the reception, they were clearly told that all the services included in the package would be provided. They were absolutely sure that every flight was part of the paid package. And suddenly, they were asked to pay for something they were never informed about. Thankfully, the children had extra money with them, otherwise, the situation would have been even more humiliating.
The most outrageous part is that they completely forgot to offer the paid-for service, the flight on the paragliding simulator, but they certainly didn’t forget to charge for the additional flight. This left a very bitter taste.
I have tried to contact iFly to resolve this glaring issue, but so far, no one has bothered to respond. How can you treat customers like this, especially those who trusted your service and wanted to create a memorable experience for their loved ones?
This isn’t just disappointment — it feels like being cheated. I urge anyone who is considering buying iFly Basingstoke packages for their children, friends, or loved ones to be extremely cautious. What they promise may not match reality, and there is no guarantee that everything will go as advertised.

Went to this with my brother, both first time flyers, Jordan our instructor was amazing start to finish, we were both pretty nervous, but he was super friendly and reassuring. He made us feel relaxed and made sure we had the most fun and got the best out of our experience! Highly recommend! I will be bringing my 7year old in to have a go at some point 😊 Thanks Jordan, you’re brilliant!!

We've been to iFly in Basingstoke 5 times now. On the 4th visit 18 months ago we vowed NEVER to go back again. The instructor was horrid with ZERO patience and threw my son out of the wind chamber as HE lost his footing, refusing to take him up on a high flight as he was deemed too 'dangerous'. (Despite doing it 3 times before with no problem) I filmed the whole thing. My son did not move a muscle. That instructor also only took other flyers up half way. Lack of experience maybe??
Anyway, when my son was bought a voucher for Christmas from a friend. We reluctantly booked in again.
We travelled from Swindon to Basingstoke, in plenty of time, or so we thought. Roadworks and traffic caused us to be just 8 minutes late (you have to arrive 45 minutes before your flight time for the briefing - we knew this didn't take the full 45 minutes. We'd been here before!). The foreign lady on the reception desk refused us entry, telling us the briefing had already started and we'd missed our slot. We either come back for the 5pm flight, or we pay another £45 to move to another date. I explained we were just 8 minutes late, and the flight wasn't for another 35 minutes or so. She refused to go up and check, she called up and stuck to her decision. So we reluctantly went away to come for 4:15 ready for the 5pm flight.
Imagine our delight when we did return, to find the briefing was running 5 minutes late, and at 4:20 my son and his friend were called straight through to the dressing area with us to be briefed. They were the only 2 for the 5pm flight - or so we thought. At 4.33pm another 5 people turned up for their same flight. There was plenty of time to dress them and get them ready.
My son had a voucher for 4 flights, photos, a high fly and a VR flight. His friend he went with just booked 4 standard flights.
Once finished we went to see the photos on the screens downstairs... Only my son, had his friends name with NO free photos, and his friend has his name with my sons free photos. (My son wore a blue suit, his friend was in red)
I then asked to speak with a manager. Paul came out and, to be honest - listened and checked the system and told me that the 1:30 flight was all dressed and ready to go by 1:18pm... We had already been told to leave by that time, we got there at 12:55 at the latest, and it then took ages for her to find us another slot. He apologised for the inconvenience and said that he would have done the opposite of what his colleague had done. And also promised to send me the link to my sons photos free of charge. We explained the names had been switched around. He sent the first email with my Sons friends photos, then after replying to him to point this out again, I received a 2nd email with my sons photos on. He told me to forget what had happened earlier that day, and instead focus on him 'sorting' the problem at that moment when I am asked for feedback on our visit when I get the email.
We ended up staying in Basingstoke from 1pm, Spending our time in McDonalds and Costa (not knowing the area). Also not wanting to travel too far from the IFly centre, as the receptionist had promised to call if they had a no show at one of the earlier flights. We finally got home at 7pm for less than a 1 hour flight?! It was a total waste of our day, all because the receptionist refused to take into account roadworks, and wouldn't go upstairs personally to check on the progress of our original 1:30 flight.
The ONLY saving grace in our entire day was that the boys had Will as their instructor. Will is incredible and after my Sons last encounter with the instructor, it was refreshing to see my son quite confident once again. And moving with ease in the chamber. (Will. This 1 star is purely for you!)
Thank you Will. You were amazing. It's just a shame that your receptionist let you down. It is for that reason I will NOT be bringing my Son back to iFly for a 6th time.

Absolutely fantastic, our instructor Will was a star and looked after us all. Anyone can.give this a go. We were a group of 14 and all loved it.

If you have someone with you that isn’t going to do the experience yes. We were there on 17th May and watched folk taking videos and photos on phones from the viewing area. You can’t take anything into the area near the wind tunnel though.

We paid about £54 for 4 flights for two people. If you are a family, you could buy a family pass for 99.99 that allows 10 flights shared between the family members - doesn’t have to be equally shared. There is also the pack for just one person - 2 flights at about £30.

It is possible to pay on the day, but we always advise customers to book in advance as there is no guarantee that we will have space, if you just turn up on the day. Hope to see you flying soon.
