This is a small bar with a big atmosphere, great music and the staff are amazing, putting on a great show as they serve nice drinks.

Went in with colleagues for after work cocktails, Barnes looked after us all and made sure we all had an amazing time. The drinks were delicious

Me and my partner heard good reviews about this bar and was looking forward for a few cocktails here on Friday. My partner is in the army and used his miltary mod 90 ID when requested ID by the bouncer, as of which we were accepted in (as this is legal proof of ID). However when went to order at the bar apparently they could not accept the ID as proof of age. Under home office guidance this should have been accepted but the bar staff refused and said it is not. For future reference, training should be established for your team to avoid further issues. Know your ID’s!!

We regret to learn about your recent experience with us. However, we adhere strictly to a policy that all our staff are trained in regarding age verification. This policy requires documentary evidence of age in any situation where there is doubt. According to our company policy, we accept the following forms of ID:
Passport
Photo card driving license
Accredited PASS Scheme proof of age card (must have PASS Hologram)
Despite our door staff verifying age before entry, it remains our responsibility to recheck proof of age before serving any individual. The presence of door staff does not absolve us of our duty to uphold this policy.
Therefore, the staff member in question was simply adhering to our established procedures. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and understand that other venues might accept different forms of ID. However, our policy does not currently include these forms, and it is our responsibility, not just the door staff's, to ensure compliance with age verification procedures and our premises license.
I will review our policy to see if we can include military IDs and MOD90s in the future.
Again, I apologize for any inconvenience, but our staff were merely following our policy.

Kyle was great with us and making cocktails easy to choose from. Easy on the eye too! Would recommend going in and asking for him! Very educated on what he does.

We hired out the private area for a hen do and Miriam made sure we have the best night, she honestly couldn't of done anything more! Got involved and had a giggle whilst being professional, we'd definitely come back! Thanks again for looking after us all 🙂

Jago was a great barman who we saw served multiple customers at fast pace. He was very open about recommending drinks and happy to make us something that stood out based on our taste. 5* beautiful.
