I have used Airport 247 about 4 times now in the course of 2 years. One time back in 2017 to get my family over for my wedding and just last week when my family was visiting. Just like any cab company that you find on the internet i was a bit skeptical, the website seems cheaply built, you know it is not Addison Lee. I booked the cab and opted to pay the driver upon delivery of my parents. I liked the fact that they actually go and meet you at arrivals and pick you up in person as my parents didn't speak the language. The family came as expected, everything was fine. They said the driver was quite nice and carried their bags. I paid them, job done. When you call the operators are very helpful and also track your flights, drivers are never too early even if your flight is delayed so that you don't get overcharged for waiting. Didn't compare a lot of prices but from Stansted Airport that seemed the best option , plus recommends to register and get a 10% discount which is not bad if you need a one time trip.

I’ve hired them in advance but in the pick up moment NEVER appeared and the driver didn’t aswered his phone. Never hire them! A total disappointment

Our driver was late and rude. She had another fare to pick up and she called her office and I thought she might leave us at the airport to make that fare. Heathrow Express is about the same price for two and runs on time.

To start with all this lot do is book another firm . They don't even deserve one star .
We booked multiple journeys and the first two where a total joke. I pre paid for everything up front . The first journey the driver not only demanded cash but also charged more than the agreed rate that was charged onto my credit card. So they charged twice. The second journey the driver took the wrong passenger to the wrong place and had to be corrected. Since this i have lost a client and am still waiting for a refund for the journeys cancelled. They answer your calls and have apologised as such but still haven't refunded a lot of money to my card. On top of that no offer of a refund or partial refund for the poor service and bad journeys. I am not a fan of the UBER model but these guys are just as bad if not worse !!!. PLENTY OF COMPETITION OUT THERE SO I SUGGEST AVOIDING THIS LOT

The driver dropped us off at the wrong address and we had to walk an additional 10 mins with our suitcases as a result. We were also charged additional fees for waiting time because the driver decided to show up early. Cheaper than other cab companies and it shows why...

Punctual service and helpful driver. Will be using them again for sure. I had booked just one day in advance and selected the one hour wait option. Driver was waiting even though we came out 15 minutes early.

Booked online 1 day in advance and with the 15% discount, cost is reasonably economical for a private transfer. Driver arrived early and was waiting patiently for us. Being a Sunday drive was smooth and we arrived at Heathrow on time. Will use again in future if rates remain reasonable and service reliable. Driver was friendly and helpful with luggages.

I booked a cab to go from Heathrow to Southampton on June 1, 2018. I selected maximum wait time as we do not know how long the immigration process will take. We went through immigration quickly and was out in the waiting hall in half and hour. Our cab is supposed to come upon arrival of the plane at 12:40 p.m. When we did not see our driver I called and was told that the driver is dispatched and for us to wait 10 minutes. 20 minutes later we called again and was told to wait another 10 minutes. 20 minutes later we called the third time and was told the wait time that I have selected was for us to wait for the driver. Since I have select 1-1/2 hour they were still within the wait time period. The driver finally came in another 10 minutes. A total wait time of almost an hour. I believe from their website the wait time applies to the driver and penalty will apply to the customer if the customer exceeded the wait time. How is it now that the wait time becomes the customer's wait time? Is the cab company going to be penalized if it has exceeded the wait time??? We did honour our return trip on June 16 from Southampton to Heathrow. This time the driver does not know the cruise terminal to pick us up even though we have specified the cruise company on our booking. We have also waited for half an hour and only got picked up after a couple of phone calls. Pretty frustrating.
Would have given a one Star but the cars for both trips are clean and the driver courteous.

Hi, I have looked into your order and from the data available, at the point of booking you requested the driver to be at the meeting point 120 minutes after your flight landed. The driver collected you accordingly. We work according to scheduled arrival times, if a flight is delayed our dispatchers adjust the dispatch of the driver to reflect this so as not to put any additional financial burden, such as waiting time or extortionate airport car park charges, to the passenger. I hope this clarifies your query.

I booked a cab for airport for my parents. The cab was suppose to come at 1300 hours. I called the driver at 1250 and he said that he will be at my door by 1305. The cab came only at 1335, a delay of over half an hour. In the mean time I received two calls from the company and both time they said that the cab will reach in 10 min which was a lie. Also I was given an option to arrange something on my own given the delay which wasn't a good option given by these people assuming they still want to run a business in London. The cab reached airport around 1515. Full points to the driver of the cab who was nice to my parents and help them with their luggage etc. But as far as reviewing Airport247 I will go with 1 star (the driver was the saving grace).

Hi Rahul, So sorry to hear about your experience. I do apologise for the issue that you have sited and please feel rest assured we do not take such matters lightly. From the data that I currently have available, it seems that the driver misled the dispatch agents as to his exact location, and subsequently this information was relayed to yourself. I have spoken to the team that were dealing with this issue and I have been informed that this matter has been resolved.
