Really lovely people. We booked a 1 hour sunset ride and opted for them to come and collect us from our hotel. Really good value for money. We all had some experience riding but opted for a beginner ride as just wanted to relax and see the views. It did not disappoint! I would say you only really need the hour. Was a really relaxing walk across the beach and the sunset was absolutely beautiful! I feel like the staff went out of their way/ took a few pics for you, it really was a nice touch. I would really recommend this to anybody thinking of doing this whilst in Kos.

We did a 1 hour beach and salt lake trek as a family of four (including a 6 and 9 year old) at 8am. We all very much enjoyed - friendly staff, safe horses and beautiful setting. You can borrow hats, boots and trousers etc, they also provided us with a very reasonable transfer from our hotel. We would recommend and would go again if in Kos!

The sunset ride was amazing! I was here with my sister and we both enjoyed it very much! We would definitely recommend the experience.

Amazing experience. Loved cantering along the beach and the salt lake on beautiful Maximus. Lovely well organised and professional stables. All equipment provided so no need to bring any riding gear. Cater for beginners and more experienced riders. Horses very well looked after.

We visited Salt Lake Stables in September 2024, my husband and I had booked the sunrise hour ride. We were kept well informed from the moment we booked, right up until the day of the ride. We knew exactly what time we would be collected, and the van was right on time. We were taken to the stables which was only a 5 minute drive from our hotel, and the man showed us where to choose our boots, trousers, helmets and socks (if needed). He then showed us how to use the lockers, and that we would be provided a little bag for any phones being taken on the ride. Once we were ready, we were all taken outside and got on our horses. We set off with 3 employees joining us, which I felt was just right for the amount of people in our riding group.
The instructors were lovely, so friendly and helpful. They kept offering to take pictures and videos on our phones for us, which was amazing as we got some great memories captured. The instructor then also split us off into two groups, one who wanted to trot for people who have ridden before and one for people who didn't want to trot. I felt like this was really good, as it meant people with some experience could do a bit more than people who weren't comfortable. The ride itself was lovely, the horses had excellent temperament and they made the ride so enjoyable. When we got back, we were offered complimentary drinks before heading back to the hotel in the van.
Overall, this experience is up there with one of the best on our holiday. The stables was so well presented, you could really tell the horses are well cared for and the staff are super friendly and approachable. I'd highly recommend this to anyone. Thank you Salt Lake!

We booked the Sunset Ride online a few weeks before arriving in Kos which was a simple and easy process with a confirmation email immediately arriving with all the information we needed and when we would be picked up. Our pick up was on time and we arrived at the stables to be issued the included helmets and any clothing required before being taken to our horses. My partner and I had never ridden before so we were a little nurvous. The staff quickly put us at ease as we mounted the horses and were given a briefing. There was a group of around 10 of us and the three accompanying staff made sure we were all comfortable during the hour long trott down to the sea and along the salt flats. The more experienced riders were taken off for a short hack which shows they cater for all levels of experience. The horses are in great condition and clearly well looked after as they behaved throughout until the end when something spooked them but the staff quickly settled them down. A free drink afterwards before being taken back to our hotel ended what was a fantastic experience. Its an amazing way to see the sunset at a reasonable cost which I highly recommend.

Great experience. Would definitely recommend. The staff were friendly and very experienced. The horse I rode was very calm and well trained. All round 10/10

Very nice stable with very nice horses, also for well experienced riders a top opportunity to discover kos on the horseback
Emilia and Hannah were our guides and they did very well, we had much fun and chatted the whole stroll

Myself and daughter went on a two hour moonlight ride with two lovely ladies and also had the pleasure of the owner joining us. The ladies were frequently checking if we were ok. The staff did exceptionally well with matching us with appropriate horses. The horses are kept in excellent condition & we would recommend these stables to anyone. A big thank you to all who made our ride so enjoyable. The cats were lovely too. Xx

Jestem bardzo zadowolona. Byłam na wschodzie, zachodzie i pływaniu. Wszystkie z tych aktywności mają swój urok. Najpiękniejsze wspomnienie to galop po plaży do zachodu słońca i pływanie, kiedy jest się na grzbiecie. Warto wziąć telefon, bo kadra robi pamiątkowe zdjęcia i filmiki. Transfer z hotelu zawsze podjeżdżał punktualnie. Po jeździe dostaliśmy schłodzone napoje.Stajnia wyposażona we wszystkie niezbędne artykuły i ubrania. Przemili ludzie, można się porozumieć po angielsku jak i niemiecku. Bezpieczeństwo zapewnione, trudności z jazdy świetnie dobrane do umiejętności, dzielenie na grupy w trakcie ,odbywa się sprawnie, dobra organizacja, piękne zadbane konie. Niezapomniane przeżycia warte swojej ceny. Polecam tych ludzi z czystym serduchem!

Do you still go along the beach and salt lake if you pick the 30 minutes ride ? It's our first time and not sure if an hour will be to much

I don't know, but I was 60 hadn't ridden for years and loved the 1 hour ride. You can just walk the horse if you wish, but I chose more. It was the highlight of my holiday, especially riding in the clear sea. Go for it

Hi, we are an italian family and will be in kos from July 12 to 19th. My doughter will have the birthday on July 16 and would like to organize something special with your organization if possible. She ride horses from when she was 4. Is it possible to do something?
